Artfully Sent Reindeer Card Piecing and Freebie

Happy Thursday crafty friends,
Hope you are having a wonderful day. Today I am showcasing another project I created from the fun and ON SALE….Artfully Sent cartridge.  I have been having a ball working with this fun cartridge in conjunction with the Cricut Explore and Design Space software. So here is what I came up with.

Okay I just have to insert something here…trying to get pictures of this project has LITERALLY been like PULLING TEETH!!!! First I took pictures with my camera…and my card wouldn’t read in my computer!!! I could use is in my camera, but my card reader in my laptop wouldn’t pick it up….UGH…spent about 45 minutes trying to get that to work. So I finally gave up and then turned to my phone. Took photos again and then tried to message them to myself…and I kept getting a send failure notice…UGH. Then lastly, I tried “emailing” them to myself….FINALLY….SOOOOO I apologize, these pics aren’t the best quality but I think they will work

Here’s a look at the completed card. I used some green cardstock for the base. The base with the HO HO HO is a cut in the Artfully Sent cartridge. I used the Design Space software and my Artfully sent cartridge to create this adorable little reindeer piecing.

Here’s a closer look at the stamped sentiment. The frame and the sentiment are both also in the Artfully Sent bundle. I used my Cranberry Ink Pad to stamp the frame and sentiment. The tag is already in the Artfully sent cartridge too.

Here is just a slight side view to show that I used a little foam tape to give the reindeer piecing and the sentiment a little lift. I finished off the card with a little bow. I also added some Gold Glitz stickles to his little wreath to jazz it up. The papers I used were once again from the DCWV Evergreen Stack.

ctmh cyber week coverGEDSC DIGITAL CAMERA
I thought this little treat box turned out adorable. The silly song kept playing in my head as I was creating this. I started by using the Design Space software. I started editing shapes available in the software and in the Artfully Sent cartridge to create this little guy.
GEDSC DIGITAL CAMERA
Here is a more angled shot to show his dimension. I was able to fit a little bag of Hershey's kisses in the box. I simply tied it with a bow and added the fun little tag I created. I used my pebbles chalks to chalk around the edges to give the pieces just a little dimension. I also used my Chalk Marker to create the white parts of the eyes.

Here is just one more look at this fun little guy. It is the perfect size for your kids to give to school mates. Holds just enough candy. Not too much that other moms won’t hate on you…lol!

So for my freebie today, I am sharing the fun little tag set I created. There are four different tags in .png and .jpg format. So you can print them out and hand cut them OR if you have a craft cutter like your Pazzles, Cameo or Cricut Explore, you can use the print then cut feature. December Projects Artfully Sent Sale and Freebie Link

Hello crafty friends,
Can you believe it is already December 1st?  I still can’t believe how FAST this year went. Just about everyone I talk to feels the same way. Time is just speeding by!
I have had SO MANY changes this year and my crafting has had to take a back seat, but as I look to 2016, I hope that I will be able to get back to some crafting and doing and sharing more.
Every year for the last four years, I have had a “form” of a 25 days of Christmas event. Some years were much bigger than others. While I wasn’t able to plan anything for this year, I still wanted to share some of the season with everyone. So I will be sharing projects that show case the holidays. I will also be sharing what the PCW designers share too. So be sure to sign up for my newsletter as well as head over to the PCW blog and follow there too!

Christmas Hop with Artfully Sent Card and Free File Link

Hello crafty friends,
Today I am sharing a project I created for the 12 Days of Christmas Hop.  Today is day 7 and I am a guest designer today. If you want to take a look at all of the amazing projects created each day, just be sure to head over to Lisa’s blog and you will find links to each day. There are some amazing projects and some great prizes to win!!! If you are following along with the hop, then you should have come from Kim of Katydid Cards. So here is what I came up with for my project.
GEDSC DIGITAL CAMERA
I used my Cricut Explore along with the Artfully Sent Cartridge to create this pretty card.
base mat scored-450
I started by using the Cricut Explore Design Space program and selected this card. I changed the size to 5.5 x 5.5 finished size. I used some kraft cardstock for the base.
sponging trees-450
I then used some White Daisy ink and sponged it onto the tree trunks. I then cut a piece of blue cardstock for the background.
sponging blue-450
I used my Pacifica ink and sponged some ink randomly on the mat.

After that, I turned back to my White Daisy Ink and sponged some ink onto the mat.

Here is what the background looks like after I finished sponging the inks.

GEDSC DIGITAL CAMERA
I then added some frosted lace stickles to the snow drifts die cut. I also used some foam tape to add some depth to the snow drift and the deer silhouettes.

GEDSC DIGITAL CAMERA
I then used the coordinating stamp sets that come in the Artfully sent bundle and my slate ink and stamped the outline and the sentiments. I then added the flowers and the leaves on the top of the label. I finished off the flowers by adding pearls to the centers.

GEDSC DIGITAL CAMERA
Here is a closer, angled view. I used some foam tape again to give the label some lift.

Here is one last look at the final card.  Close To My Heart is having a Cyber Week sale this week and the Artfully Sent cartridge is on sale for 25% off.
