Today I am sharing a project I created for the 12 Days of Christmas Hop. Today is day 7 and I am a guest designer today. If you want to take a look at all of the amazing projects created each day, just be sure to head over to Lisa’s blog and you will find links to each day. There are some amazing projects and some great prizes to win!!! If you are following along with the hop, then you should have come from Kim of Katydid Cards. So here is what I came up with for my project.
I used my Cricut Explore along with the Artfully Sent Cartridge to create this pretty card.
I started by using the Cricut Explore Design Space program and selected this card. I changed the size to 5.5 x 5.5 finished size. I used some kraft cardstock for the base.
I then used some White Daisy ink and sponged it onto the tree trunks. I then cut a piece of blue cardstock for the background.
I used my Pacifica ink and sponged some ink randomly on the mat.
After that, I turned back to my White Daisy Ink and sponged some ink onto the mat.
Here is what the background looks like after I finished sponging the inks.
I then added some frosted lace stickles to the snow drifts die cut. I also used some foam tape to add some depth to the snow drift and the deer silhouettes.
I then used the coordinating stamp sets that come in the Artfully sent bundle and my slate ink and stamped the outline and the sentiments. I then added the flowers and the leaves on the top of the label. I finished off the flowers by adding pearls to the centers.
Here is a closer, angled view. I used some foam tape again to give the label some lift.
Here is one last look at the final card. Close To My Heart is having a Cyber Week sale this week and the Artfully Sent cartridge is on sale for 25% off.
Every day this week I will be sharing some fun projects using the Artfully sent cartridge bundle and other great CTMH products, so be sure to come back by each day. I will also be sharing some free files and more!
And now for my blog candy.
I will be giving away a 20 gift download to PaperCraftingWorld.com. To qualify, you must be a follower of my blog (just click the button and add yourself) and then leave a comment on this post. That’s it! The hop runs through the 5th and I will be picking a winner on the 7th.
I am also sharing the Design Space file I created for this card. To use this file and recreate this project, you will need to have the Cricut Explore, using the Design Space software and the Artfully Sent cartridge.
Just click the Add to cart button and you will be able to
download the zip folder with the file link.
