Celebrate Jalapeno Card

Hello crafty friends,

Today I am sharing a card I created with the new SPICY LIKE THAT digital set from Joy Clair. I created a total of 4 cards. I will post the others at the bottom of my post so you can go to each post for details on them. Be sure to head over to Joy Clair and pick up this wonderfully fun set!

This card is an A2 horizontal top folding card base made with a rich cherry cardstock. I then cut a white mat. I layered my digital card front design onto that.

Here is a look at the digital card front I designed (minus the watermark). 

I printed it with my regular inkjet printer.

Here's a closer look at the Jalapeno boy. I just added a little shine marks with my gel pen along the sides, his nose and the glints of his eyes. I also added stitch marks around the oval mat.

Here's a closer look at the little Jalapeno girl. I did color her nose in as when printing her out, the color of the nose was pretty close to the color of her body. I added some white shine with my gel pen.

Here you can see I used some stickles to color in the centers of the flowers as well as the centers of the little decorative dots by the sentiment.

I added a bow with some twine for a little extra pizazz.
