Challenge #81: Card Outreach

Happy Wednesday and welcome to our weekly Cooking With Cricut challenge! Today our Design Team is showcasing "Thinking of You" cards for two sweet young ladies who are battling different kinds of cancer.

Patty Rogers is 13 years old and has a rare form of childhood cancer called neurobastoma. She has had three surgeries to remove tumors, nine rounds of chemotherapy, and a stem cell transplant.

Patty is currently on low-dose chemotherapy, and just received approval to join an experimental therapy study called I-131 MIBG. Her mother is a friend of Design Team member Kemma.

Emily Ziemathis is six. She is the oldest daughter of four children to Sean and Jennifer and although she is small, petite and quiet, she holds her own with her brothers and sister and has a heart the size her mommy and daddy admire. Arts and crafts, pink and purple, horses and kittens are items that will keep her content and comfortable for hours. Unfortunately, that comfort has been disrupted with the recent diagnosis of Leukemia.

Emily is this month's "I Feel the Love" Project recipient -- IFTL was started by Design Team member Madison. Each month Madison selects a different person (or persons) who is going through a difficult time and could use a lift, to receive handcrafted cards.

Here is what the Design Team created to help cheer up these beautiful and brave girls!  Make sure you click on the designer's name to visit their blogs for more details and to leave 'em some love and appreciation for all their hard work.
