Hey Everyone!
I hope you are in the middle of a very crafty week or preparing for a very crafty weekend! I have to say, Jamie did an awesome job! She is showcasing the New Testament Cricut Cartridge, one that I was not too sure about at first, but now it is at like the top of my wish list!
Here is Jamie:
Hello, my name is Jamie and I am here to showcase one of my newest and
current favorite Cricut Cartridge. This cartridge is the New Testament
Cartridge. This cart has so much to offer. From home decor possibilities, church
projects, gifts to layouts and cards. This cartridge has many features
including: Biblical Characters and illustrations, Scripture, Books, Books
Shadow, Fish and Crosses. I have some examples of things that I have made using
this cartridge below. If you want more ideas on how to use the cartridge you can
I used vinyl and cut
the cross out from the New Testament card and adhered it to a glass block that I
bought from Hobby Lobby. I used some ribbon and fiber to embellish it and stuck
a light in through the bottom. It looks awesome when lit up, unfortunately the
picture didn't.
Last year we went the 'Journey to the Cross' live Easter production at a local church. They reenacted the Jesus' crucifixion and resurrection outside on their church property. It was really amazing. Here I used the cartridge to create the scene for the pictures I took that day.
A closer view of the
cross I cut using the cartridge.
I have really gotten
into creating cards lately and one of my favorite things to do is to make sets
of cards as gifts. Here I used a tutorial (that I have shown on my blog in the past) to create
these card boxes.
I cut the crosses out
using the New Testament cartridge to embellish the front of the boxes.
Here is the open view
of the card boxes with card examples. Cards go on one side and the envelopes on
the other.
All of the above and
below diecuts came from the cartridge as well.
I have many more plans in the works with how to use this cartridge, such as I
plan to use some of the scriptures and more of the crosses/fish to make some
home decor once my house is painted. So, something to look forward to!
I hope you have enjoyed this short tour of the New Testament Cricut Cartridge and I hope you have been inspired to create and perhaps check this cartridge out.

Wasn't that an amazing showcase? If you think so, then go and tell Jamie through a comment on her blog!

WOW, excellent job Jamie showcasing this cartridge!! My question is... are the crosses and fish with words in them on that same NT cartridge?? I looked at the picture shown from the back of the cartridge and did not see those on there. So just wondering. maybe they are "accessories" on it? LOVE the glass block--nice gift. And I'm a church secretary so thinking those card sets would be awesome for our congregation. :)
