Day 8 of 25 Days

Hello crafty friends,
Hope you’re having a craft-filled day today! I am sharing another Christmas card today.
c tree-punart-480
Here’s my card. It is a pretty simple card. I used my Spellbinders Frames for the background. I used and EK Success Tree punch for the base of the tree. For the “tree branches” I used a Martha Stewart Punch to layer the leaves. I just used the base of the tree to position leaves. For the border I used an EK Success border punch and just punched it back to back. I then threaded some ribbon through it. Shocking, but here is another card created without any of my beloved Die Cuts With A View Patterned Paper...lol!

I used the following to create this card
Spellbinders Label Dies
EK Success Tree Punch
Martha Stewart Punch Leaves
EK Success Border Punch
Cuttlebug Embossing Border
Pearls, Stickles
White and Cream Cardstock

Day 7-2013 Treat or Note Card Box

25days2013-day7-350

Happy Sabbath crafty friends,
Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by and share some of your crafty time with me. It’s a busy season of getting some Holiday crafting done, so let’s get right to it.

artiste bx tset-500
Today’s project was created with my Artiste Cartridge. I used some very old Basic Grey paper and cut this cute little box out.  I then made some cute little matching notecards. I printed out the little digi stamp from PaperCraftingworld.com. I used my EK Success border punch to decorate the tops and wrapped them with some twine.

Here is a closer look at the box.  I Cut the red label out of the Cricut Artiste Cartridge and then used my border punch to again, decorate the top. I created the cute little red ribbon bow and topped it with a red button and some more green twine.

25days2013-day6-350
Hello crafty friends,
Thank goodness it’s Friday. I hope you are wrapping up your work week and getting ready to do some Christmas crafting.  I am sharing another card I created.

day6-cardinalcard-480
I used some Die Cuts With A View DCWV Christmas and Winter Value Stack.  I also used a pretty cut file from PaperCraftingWorld.com as well as the Cardinal Pine Cones Digital Stamp.  I also used some Robin’s Nest Dew drops around the frame for an added decorative touch.

cardinal closeup-450
Here is a closer look at the cardinal digi. I used some Copics as well as a couple of markers from Close To My Heart to color. I then used some dimensional white paint along with some fine glitter to make the branches and pine cones “snowy”. I did also use some Pearlescent chalk for the background around the cardinal.

day6-sideview-450
Here’s a shot to show the pretty understated dew drops I used. These colors are all in one bottle. They have some really nice mixes. I also machine stitched around the outer edge of the mats.

Day 5 of 25 Days of Christmas And Year 'Round Crafting

Hello crafty friends, Thank you once again for joining me on this Crafty adventure. Today, I have a super quick and cute Card-Gift Card Holder to share with you.

ornament card holder-450
Here’s a look at my finished card. I used a cute ornament cut file from the Pazzles Craft RoomOf COURSE, I used some fun, FLASHY and festive Die Cuts With A View DCWV patterned paper from the DCWV Evergreen Paper Stack!

card holder opened-450
Here is a shot of the inside of the card. It has a nice little fold inside so that it will hold a gift card!!!!

So here’s how to assemble the card.
ornament card holder folding-450
Here is a view of the inside of the card. To create the card simply take a piece of cardstock 5.5 x 11 and score at 4.25”, 5.5” and 6.75”. You will fold them together to create the “pocket”. Place adhesive on the three sides to create the sandwich.

card slot-cu-450b
Trim a slit about one inch in from each edge and it will make a perfect pocket for your gift card. This is actually the crease that the paper is folded on.
You will have a standard size card to decorate and done! Simple, easy and effective.
This shot just shows how pretty that DCWV paper is. It is already foiled. I cut the outline in plain white cardstock and then used my Glitter Gel to sparkle it up! Finished the top with a button, bow and twine....YUMMY! It comes together very fast!

I used the following to complete this project

Day 4 of 25 Days

25days2013-day4-350
Hello crafty friends,
Today is a super quick post. I will have to come back later and edit it for more information, but I have to leave shortly to go take my brother and nephew to the airport…..Orlando Int’l Airport….which is CRAZY busy, ESPECIALLY this time of year. So here is my card for today.

christmas blessings-450
Yes….I seem to be having a “thing” with poinsettias…lol! The pretty paper is from the Die Cuts With A View DCWV Christmas and Winter 180 stack. The pretty gems in the center of the Poinsettias are some cute Dew Drops from Robin’s Nest. I will have to give you more details later Smile

I do apologize as I don’t have a freebie for today. I will do my best to “make up” for it tomorrow. In the meantime, you can still grab all the previous freebies as I have not had a chance to “take them down yet”… Just visit each post to grab the links.

Also, don’t forget to leave a comment on today’s post or yesterday’s for a chance to win a $10 download from PaperCraftingWorld.com.
