Hello crafty friends, Thank you once again for joining me on this Crafty adventure. Today, I have a super quick and cute Card-Gift Card Holder to share with you.
Here’s a look at my finished card. I used a cute ornament cut file from the Pazzles Craft Room. Of COURSE, I used some fun, FLASHY and festive Die Cuts With A View DCWV patterned paper from the DCWV Evergreen Paper Stack!
Here is a shot of the inside of the card. It has a nice little fold inside so that it will hold a gift card!!!!
So here’s how to assemble the card.
Here is a view of the inside of the card. To create the card simply take a piece of cardstock 5.5 x 11 and score at 4.25”, 5.5” and 6.75”. You will fold them together to create the “pocket”. Place adhesive on the three sides to create the sandwich.
Trim a slit about one inch in from each edge and it will make a perfect pocket for your gift card. This is actually the crease that the paper is folded on.
You will have a standard size card to decorate and done! Simple, easy and effective.
This shot just shows how pretty that DCWV paper is. It is already foiled. I cut the outline in plain white cardstock and then used my Glitter Gel to sparkle it up! Finished the top with a button, bow and twine....YUMMY! It comes together very fast!
I used the following to complete this project
Pazzles Inspiration | Pazzles Craft Room File | |
PCW Cheer-Bright WADS | CTMH Stardust Glitter Gel | CTMH Foam Tape |
I also used:
Kraft, White and Red Cardstock
Misc. Button and Green Ribbon
Doodlebug Twine
