Cartridge Showcase: Playtime

Hello everyone, and welcome to our cartridge showcase.  This week the cartridge is the Cricut Lite Playtime. Designers Charlotte and Melin have a few projects for you today :-) First Up, Charlotte.

Hi, I'm Charlotte from A Little Bit Of Detail.  I have a card to share with you today from this fun cartridge.  I really love the phrases on this cartridge.  They are all so happy!!  So here is the card I made with one of my favorites.

I used My Mind's Eye and K&Co paper for the card.  And because it says "having fun", I just had to had a fun ribbon and bow!  The card is simple, yet I think it is really cute.  Drop by my blog, A Little Bit Of Detail sometime for a visit and see some of the other projects I have made.

What a sweet and happy card Charlotte! Be sure to visit Charlotte's blog to see all of the other beautiful cards and projects she creates!

Next Up; Melin
Hello everyone, thank you once again for kicking off your crafty week with us here at MyPaperCrafting.com. Here are a couple of projects I have created with this cartridge.

First up: A project I shared a almost a couple of years ago.
Top 10 Reasons to Love Sam.

I created this Bunny-Puppy Dog paper piecing using cuts from the Playtime cartridge. To get the details on this project, you can visit my original post: HERE

Next, This "SUPER" Layout
I used the Playtime Cartridge for the titles and the super boy. I used my Artiste Cartridge for the Stars and the Circle on this layout.
Close up of the super boy cut from Playtime Cartridge.

Here is the fun title I cut of the "having" part of this cut and used the fun only :-)

I double cut the playtime title and then off-set it to give it a "shadowed" look.

Cute Layout
Here is a view of my layout. the bottom cut is from my Artiste cartridge and so is the flower, but the girl, title and flourish are all from my Playtime cartridge.

Close up of the Cute title block from the Playtime Cartridge cut at 2.25

Here is a close up of the cute little girl cut at 4". The flower is from my Artiste cartridge. The flourish is also from the Playtime cartridge.

Thank you so much for stopping by and making us a part of your crafty time. Be sure to come back by tomorrow as our Designers will have some wonderful "SVG-CUT FILE" projects to share and a new "FREE FILE"

Here is the Wikipedia definition of ATC's.
Artist trading cards (or ATCs) are miniature works of art about the same size as modern trading cards baseball cards, or 21⁄2 by 31⁄2 inches (63 mm × 89 mm),[small enough to fit inside standard card-collector pockets, sleeves or sheets.[The ATC movement developed out of the mail art movement and has its origins in Switzerland. Cards are produced in various media, including dry media (pencils, pens, markers, etc.), wet media (watercolor, acrylic paints, etc.), paper media (in the form of collage, papercuts, found objects, etc.) or even metals or cloth. The cards are usually traded or exchanged.
