Butterfly and Popsicle Cards

Good morning crafty friends,

We have two cardst to share with you today! First, Xochitl from Paper Lovin’ Critter is sharing a pretty butterfly kissed card with us today and Melin has a “Sneak Peek” Card too.

First Up: Xochitl

Just look at this BEAUTIFUL butterfly card Xochitl created! 

She use the Butterfly n’ Mother’s Day Sentiment Digi Stamp from PCW.

She used her Silhouette Cameo and the wonderful Print N’ Cut Feature that it offers to create the butterfly on her card. You can head over to her blog and get more details!

Popsicle Card By Melin

This card was created with one of the new files from PCW that will be released this Saturday! It is a Popsicle card with a Gift card holder. Super cute and perfect for sending that special someone a sweet cool summer treat.

Cricut Artiste Giraffe Bear Piecing Layout

Good morning crafty friends,

I hope you are having a great start to your week thus far. Today I am sharing a layout I created over the weekend using the Cricut Artiste Cartridge. While the majority of my posts have not been “cricut” related, I don’t want those of you who use your Cricut and Cartridges to think that we no longer share Cricut-Related projects. I will definitely still be sharing them. Plus Monday’s used to be days in which we would share Cartridge Showcases, so I thought it would be a good idea to still share Cricut projects on Mondays too. Anyway, let’s get started.

So Adorable Cricut Artiste Layout

Here is my layout. All the cuts on this spread were created using the Cricut Artiste Cartridge. Yep, that’s right…even the bear and the Giraffe.

I did NOT use my Gypsy, Design Studio or Craft Room. These are what I call “Straight Cricut Cuts”.

I used only my Expression and the Artiste Cartridge.  I love challenging myself to try and “find” a cute little critter within the pages of the handbook. It is a challenge that allows me to try and express myself without being limited to what I plainly see in front of me….to think outside the box…er….in this case the cut…rofl

Here is a closer look at the little Giraffe. He was a lot of fun to create.

Here’s a closer look at the cute little bear. I have made a few bears from the Artiste Cartridge.

Here’s a closer look at the pretty flowers. I cut them in a “sunshiney” orange and in the pink patterned paper from my DCWV Baby Girl Stack.

Just Because…..SEVERAL PROJECTS

Good morning crafty friends,

Happy Saturday (Sabbath)! I hope you are enjoying your day of rest and doing some fun crafting! In many parts of the country it is pretty hot, so your crafting studio is the perfect place to be!!  I have some projects to share so let’s get started!

First:

JUST BECAUSE CARD

I made these pretty little flowers by cutting out the flower shape that comes in the cutting file set. I cut them in two sizes in plain white cardstock and then sponged some Tuscan Sun Glimmer Mist onto them . This makes them nice and pliable. Once they are almost dry, you can shape them how you want. I have a picture tutorial of a similar flower technique HERE

I used the Loopy Swirl Card Cutting File set from PaperCraftingWorld.com. Finished card size: 4.25 x 5.5. I used the new Floral Bouquet Digi Stamp from PCW.

Here’s a closer look. I printed out the black and white (line art) version of the stamp and then colored it in with my shimmery pastel chalks in the creamy orange and slate colors. I used a versa marker pen  for the flower lines. I finished it off by adding some stickles to the “baby’s breath-type” branches and some liquid pearls in the flower centers and the scattered dots.

“Sneak Peek” Thank You Card

Today I am sharing this super quick and easy card I created.
