Happy Birthday Shabby Chic Card

Hey crafty friends,

So glad you stopped in today! I am sharing yet another easy and fun card with dies from the new Cottage Cutz Black Friday release. Here is what I am sharing today!

I created a top folding A4 card. I started with a white cardstock base.  

I used some pretty shabby chic patterned paper. I inked the edges of the paper with some black ink to give it a vintage look.

Today I am sharing another fun card I created using the new CottageCutz.com Folk Art Release! This is such a fun set of dies Her is wh/at I created.

It is a 5.5 x 5.5 squared top folding card. It features the super cute Hen and Egg Dies

Slimline Birthday Puppies

Happy Tuesday Sweet crafty Friends!

Today I am sharing a fun and cheerful slimline birthday card I created for Cottage Cutz. Here's a look at my finished project. I used the sweet little Christmas Puppies Dies from this year's Christmas release.

My card is pretty straightforward. It is a side folding slimline card. I started with a white card base. I cut a piece of paper to 8 x 9. I folded it in half at the 4" mark along the 8" length. I then cut a piece of red cardstock paper at 3.75 x 7.75. After I added that to my card base, I cut out the slimline circle windows base out. I then cut out a piece of the cute dotted patterned paper from doodlebug. I used some foam tape to give the slimline circle window base some lift. I then went to work cutting out the cute little puppies from some plain white cardstock. I then colored them with my markers.

Easy Happy Birthday Card With Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps

Hello crafty friends,

Melinda here to share a fun and pretty card featuring some of the Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps.

My card is an A2 sized top folding card of white cardstock. It features the Plaid background stamp along with the Sunflower stamp and the Happy Birthday sentiment. I stamped the plaid background with some teal ink onto some teal cardstock. I love the subdued tone on tone look. I mounted that mat onto my cardstock base.

Here's a look at my finished card. It is a fun cupcake shaped easel card. I used the ScraPerfect Best Glue Ever  along with some Embellie Gellie and some pretty pink gems from the Wheel of Embellies. I also used New stamps from the Crackerbox & Suzy Anniversary Month Long Releases.

Birthday Floral Card

Hello crafty  friends,  I am back again! Today I am sharing this pretty birthday card I made for someone special.

I created all of the elements as SVG cut files and they are exclusively in the Pazzles Craft Room.



I started with cutting out the flower, leaf and wreath elements in white cardstock. I inked the edged of the flowers with my light pink ink. I then layered and staggered the pieces. I then turned to the leaves and inked them lightly with my pear ink. I wanted the elements to have just a touch of color.



I cut the wreath out two times and then layered them so the element would be just a bit stronger.


For the patterned paper I used some pretty paper from the DCWV Luxury Stack. For the pretty ornate frame element, I cut it out of pink cardstock and the bottom layer in white cardstock. I used some foam tape to give that layer a little extra dimension.


I then turned to my Pazzles Pen tool. I used my pink glitter gel pen and designed the diamond pattern on the top mat. Instead of “cutting” the pattern, I used my pen tool and “drew” the pattern. This made the stitch look I was after perfect. I wanted a very subtle pattern and having my Pazzles machine create it for me was the perfect alternative. I then used a font on my computer and my pen tool one more time to draw out my sentiment. While it wasn’t a single line font, I liked the look I achieved.


I did the same thing for the larger pink mat. I just created a smaller mat and used the stitch line. This made the stitching look consistent which is hard for me to do “freehand”.


Lastly I added a bow and some pearl accents and then assembled it all. I love the way it turned out.


Here is one last look at the completed card. It is a 5.5 x 5.5 sized card. I think the recipient is going to love it. I sure hope she does!
