Chicken, Egg Folk Art Birthday Card

Happy Friday Crafty friends!

Today I am sharing another fun card I created using the new CottageCutz.com Folk Art Release! This is such a fun set of dies Her is wh/at I created.

It is a 5.5 x 5.5 squared top folding card. It features the super cute Hen and Egg Dies

Here is a closeup of the egg die. I cut it out in a cream colored paper, black and white. I used the white pieces to color some of them with my red marker. Here you can see me applying some of my spectrum noir glitter from the pen. 

Here you can see how I applied the ink to the edges of the cream colored paper die pieces. This gives them a more vintage feel.

To add a final touch to the dies, I used my black pen to add some fax stitches and dots to creat a fun border.

Here you can see that I inked the edges of my patterned paper mat.

This is a look at the inside of my card. I tought the sentiment would make a perfect match with the dies! Of course I will plan to give this to my favorite "old hen...rofl!"
