DETAILS ON MY PROJECT

Here's a look at my completed project. It is a cute little Holiday decor piece on an upcycled easel from Dollar tree.

I started out by digitally coloring and printing the Love to Bake Digital Stamp Marci from LaLaLand Crafts. The digital coloring was a baseline. I then used markers to add more depth and cut a few layers out. I was going to make her freestanding but then decided to upcycle the little easel.

Once I cut her out, I used that to outline the image in some thicker black cardstock.

I cut out a few layers of these in the thicker black cardstock. It was so that I could make her nice and rigid. Again, I had intended to make her "freestanding" but ultimately changed my mind.

As I mentioned above, I added some marker coloring to her. Here you can see I added some details including making her cool glass glittery with some Ruby Slippers Stickles glitter glue.

I then used some super cute paper from the Candy Shoppe paper pad by LaLa Land Crafts and covered the easel.

Here's a closer look at the adorable Gingerbread Cottage Die from Cottage Cutz. I added some cute little "fake bake" sprinkles onto the top. You can't tell but I used my spectrum Noir pen to add a soft touch of glittler to the hearts, window, the candy canes and the other candy pieces. For the little Gingerbread people, they were from the Ginger Pocket Peeker die from Cottage Cutz. I just made one to  look more like a little girl and one like a little boy.

I then used the LaLa Land Crafts Gingerbread Wishes stamp set to stamp out my sentiment. I added that to the Rectangle scallop stitched die from Cottage Cutz. The cute little baking set and tiny gingerbread cookie and man came from the Holiday Gnome Baker from Cottage Cutz. The little Candy cane was from the Ginger Pocket Peeker from from Cottage Cutz.

I then stamped and cut out two of the adorable little gingers from the same Gingerbread Wishes Stamp set from LaLa Land Crafts. It was so much fun coloring these two little cutie patooties. They worked perfectly on my piece. The two candy pieces along with the strawberry towards the top were also from the Gingerbread Cottage die from Cottage Cutz.

Here is one last look at my finished easel. I just love this little decor piece and can't wait for Thanksgiving to be over so I can set her out by our beverage station!
