Mason Jar Wall Hanging with Rinea Foiled Paper

Hello crafty friends,
Last Sunday I shared my latest make for the Rinea design team. I got a little behind in posting here to my blog. I am, nonetheless super delighted to share this project with you. I just loved the way it turned out.

I really enjoyed creating this fun home decor piece to go with the rest of my fall decor. It is a fun Mason Jar Wall Hanging. It measures approximately 13" high by 8.5" wide. The base is several layers of cardstock cut in the shape of the mason jar. This is to give the project some stability.

Here's a closer look at the lid and the background. For the body, I used some Starstruck Mocha foiled paper. I used two of my 6x12 sheets. It worked out as the seam was covered by the wrap and the label.  For the lid, I used some Copper Glossy foiled paper. For the bottom layer, I used a Copic marker to color over the paper to add a bit of depth with the darker color.
Here is a closer look at the pretty flower. I created it by using the Marigold Glossy and the Copper Starstruck foiled papers along with the new 3D Hyacinth Die! I finished the flower off by adding a couple of leaves using some Jade Starstruck foiled paper. I mounted the leaves and flowers onto a burlap bow.
Here's a closer view of the flower.  I think it looks a bit like a mum. Instead of curling back the layers to create the hyacinth, I folded them in half to create the"loops" and then rolled them. For the outer layer, I cut them down slightly and then rolled those around the inner layer and then curled back the petals.
For the label, I used some Ebony Starstruck foiled paper and cut out the sentiment I created. This is a great shot showing you how well the paper will cut with your electronic Die Cut machine. I cut this from my Cricut and used the Aluminum Foil cut setting and a very well loved mat. Behind the label, I cut a couple of circles of cardstock and then mounted all of that onto a piece of Gold Glossy Foiled paper that resembles the jar wrap.
In the lower corner, I added a cluster of acorns and leaves. I used Gold GlossyCopper GlossyJade Starstruck and Mocha Glossy foiled papers on these various pieces.

  2. I appreciate all your designs, email and ideas so much. Thank you!! I do have a question: I am not a FB member nor do I wish to make an account. I was unable to download the mason jar fall wall hanging file because of this. Will all your future cut designs only be downloadable to FB users?
