It's my turn to share over on the Dies R Us Blog Today. Here is what I came up with!
My finished card is an A2 top folding card. The base is white cardstock. I then used a piece of pink cardstock for a mat. I brushed the edges of my pink mat with some pink cat’s eye pigment ink.
I used the scalloped stitched rectangle die and cut it out from some white cardstock. All of the patterned paper I used is from the BoBunny Faith paper pad. I used a smaller rectangle die from the same set a few sizes smaller and cut that out of white cardstock as well.
The focal die for my card is the Musical Die from Cheapo Dies! I cut it out of some pink cardstock. I then used my Ebony Black Nuvo Drops to give the notes and treble clef some pop and dimension. The rest of the die I used some Stickles to give it some sparkle.
I also used my Nuvo Drops to add some dimension to the word joy. The word and sentiment were part of the patterned paper. I also used my Nuvo Drops to add a little dot border around both white mats.
Here is a closer look at the little bow I created to accent my card.
Here is one last look at my finished card. I love to make cards with lots of layers. I can’t seem to help myself!!! I did add some foam tape between the layers to give them a little lift.
