Hope you’re all doing well. Today I am sharing my first project for the RG Studio 360 design team! I had the opportunity to work with the new card class download Magnolia Notes. Such stunning images to work with! Here is what I came up with.
My card is an A2 size. I started with a white cardstock base. The mat is another piece of white cardstock. I used an embossing folder to give it the pretty texture.
Next I printed out the pieces of the flower and then cut them so I would have various layers.
I used my Chameleon Colored Pencils to color my layers.
Next I began to assemble my flowers. Here is a closer look at them. I added some foam tape between the layers to give them some lift.
For the center of the large flower, I used some Nuvo Crystal Drops Ebony for the center. I also used my Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen to give the flowers some soft sparkle.
I mounted the flowers onto a white cardstock mat and then mounted that onto the decorative frame layer. It is an SVG file I created. I accented the decorative frame with some Nuvo Crystal Drops, Ivory Seashell.
Here is one final look at the completed card. The one thing my card does not have is a sentiment. I purposely left it without one. I wanted the card to look very clean and be a white on white with the exception of the pretty blooms. I wanted them to take center stage!
Make sure you head over to the RGSTUDIO360.comhttps://youtu.be/82_nPgR4atU site and check out all the fantastic downloads! PLUS you can sign up for the card kit. It is a fantastic value. You get your downloads and they send you a kit with product to complete the cards…AND THE BIG BONUS….RG himself does a live virtual class where you can follow along as he completes the projects. It is wonderful as you can ask questions as you work “virtually” along side him! Plus you can go back and re-watch the class at your convenience!
