Day 16 of 25 Days

25days2013-day16
Whew…is it day 16 already????  I am soooo sorry I have been MIA. I really had better intentions on keeping up with this, but alas….the best laid plans…. But I am back in the crafty saddle again and here to share a couple of more fun and super easy Christmas cards with you. Today is my day to share for my DT at Scrapyland.com. So here is what I came up with.

gingerbread girl card-480
Here’s my first card. I printed out the cute little gingerbread girl and then cut her out and then also cut out the title Joy and snowflake. The patterned paper is from Die Cuts With A View DCWV High School Paper Stack. The base of the card is a file I created and cut in my Silhouette Cameo.

Here is a closer look at the joy title. I used some Crystal stickles but the photo doesn’t show it.

Here is my next card. All of the elements are again cut from the Jingle Digital Design Portfolio from Scrapyland.com. The design portfolio comes with hundreds of elements. There are matching cut files, print n’ cut files and “sketch” type files. The cut files allow you to cut from your Cameo and the Print n’ Cut files are pre-colored and ready to be printed out. The “sketch” files are perfect for printing out and then coloring with your copics or other coloring mediums. Scrapyland.com has a few different Design Portfolio CD’s Available. The cute little gingerbread boy was print n’ cut with my cameo and then I used some Lime Stickles to decorate him.

wreath card-480
Here is my second card. The wreath is again from the Jingle Digital Design Set.  The background paper is from the Die Cuts With A View High School Paper stack and the green plaid is from the Citrus Stack. I used a Martha Stewart Scroll Lace Edge Punch Around The Page Border Punch for the decorative border at the bottom.

Here is  a closer look at the wreath. I printed it out in color and then added the dots of Holly Stickles to the various dots and the Gold dot from the Robin’s Nest Beaches. The scalloped circle was a basic cut from my Silhouette Library.

gingerbread house card-480
Here is my final card. As with all the others the cute little image was from the Jingle Digital design set as was the paper from the same DCWV High School Stack set.

Here is a closer look at the cute little Gingerbread house. I added some Crystal stickles to the rooftop and some red xmas stickles to the candy canes.

To create these super easy and super fun cards I used my Cameo…..WHAAAA?????  You ask…yep that’s right, I used my Cameo and NOT my beloved Pazzles. I am ashamed to say that I have had my Cameo for quite some time and have not used it near as I should be. I am and always will be a Pazzles girl, BUT….my heart is more than big enough for another cutter. So my new friend is my Cameo. I have dusted it off and committed to learning to do more with it. Scrapyland.com has them in stock, so it certainly isn’t too late to help Santa out with an extra special present for yourself or someone else.
To create these cards, I used the Jingle Portfolio CD set that is available at Scrapyland. Within the CD collection, there are hundreds of cut files, print n’ cut images and even some wonderful “sketch” images that you can print out and color in! It is a great value for all you get. I love that there are matching cut files and Print n’ cut files of the same images, so they easily coordinate.
