Hello crafty friends, Welcome to day 3 of my 25 days of Christmas and Year ‘Round crafting. Today I am sharing a project I created for my Scrapyland DT. So here is what I have for you....
Here is a look at my completed card. It is simple with clean lines. Believe it or not…there is no patterned paper on this card…YIKES…That may be a first for me…lol! The base is made from Kraft cardstock. I then matted in white and another layer of Kraft. All of the flowers and foliage were cut in plain white cardstock.
The large flower is a Momenta die. The foliage is an Elizabeth Crafts Curvy Leaves Die and the Swirled flowers were the Impression Obsession mini spiral swirled flowers. With this shot you can also see that I took my kraft mat and embossed the background with the Quickutz scallops and dot embossing border folder. Love the subtle effect this gave.
The embossed mat is the swirl Goosebumps Quickutz embossing die. I did the large square mat and then the 1” circle. I used a 1.25” Scallop circle punch for the red scalloped circles and then used the Quickutz Chandelier Fonts for the Letters JOY.
Below you will find a complete list of the supplies with links to Scrapyland.com. I was so excited to see they brought back some of these classic Quickutz (now Lifestyle Crafts) dies. I have always loved my 2x2 dies and thought they were perfect for card making. Scrapyland even has the classic Squeeze tool available if you don’t have one.
Next, I wanted to share a card my fellow PaperCraftingWorld.com design team mate Larelyn of Handmade from the heart created.
She used her copic markers to color in the Cardinal on the Branch Digi from PCW. You can find a nice selection of Copics at Scrapyland.com. Be sure to head over to the PCW Design Team blog and get some details!
