C-25 Cash In Your Stash

Good morning crafty friends,

It is another WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY here at CWC! I hope you’re ready for this challenge…this week’s theme is:

CASH IN YOUR STASH

In honor of our upcoming “tax” day…We would like to challenge you to use the STUFF IN YOUR STASH… Things that have been around for AT LEAST A YEAR!  You can also use the theme of “CASH” or “MONEY, MOOLAH, COIN…BANK”… you get the idea Smile
Okay…ALL of you KNOW you have stuff sitting around that you OOOH’D and AAAAH’D over when you bought it and then now…..there it sits!  We are calling all Paper Hoarders and “PRETTY THINGS STASHERS!”  Now is your chance to use it!
So without further adieu, here is what our wonderful Design Team Chefs created for your viewing pleasure and inspiration!

Okay here are a few details on my layout:
stash-500
This is a pic of all the stuff in my stash that I used that I have had for over a year…some WAY OVER…lol! BTW…the Sizzix die that is still in the package…I bought it on clearance for a couple bucks a few years back and OPENED IT FOR THIS PROJECT….HOW SAD…lol!

I used some Basic Grey – Stella Ruby patterned paper. This collection came out roughly almost 4 years ago!!!
I used my Quickutz Damask border die that is over two years old
My two Sizzix Dies that is at LEAST a couple of years old.
My 50 States Cricut Cartridge that is about three years old
My Sentimentals Cricut Cartridge that I have had for just about a year.
My TH Paper Distresser. That tool is almost 3 years old.
My EK Butterfly punch that is a couple of years old and….
My MS Butterfly punch that is almost two years old.
I used “Old Paper” Distress Stickles on my butterfly. I have also had that for over a year!

SO THIS WAS PRETTY MUCH FROM MY STASH!

This project also fit nicely into a couple of other challenges over at simply scrapping a community of crafters that I recently came across. It fit into their Sketch challenge: HERE and their Cricut challenge: HERE. Be sure to head over and sign up…Be sure to tell them Melin sent you too!

Now it’s your turn!!! Get that hidden cash in your stash out and do something with it!  Here are just a few small guidelines:
* Must use your Cricut or some type of die cut on your project.
* Must use something that has been in your “Stash” for AT LEAST a YEAR.
* Your Project must be a new project for this challenge and your post MUST have a link back to CWC.
* Your entry needs to be a direct link to your project and not just your blog.

Thank you so much for playing along with us! We can’t wait to see how you use the “Cash In Your Stash”!

Have a wonderfully crafty day!

  6. You mean having paper in your stash for over a year is a BAD thing?????? LOL. I am so guilty of hoarding paper and buying stuff and not using it for a really long time. Glad I am not alone in this :)

  12. Hello, my name is Amber and I am a PAPER HOARDER..hehe! This was so much fun for me and for my kiddos! I didn't dare harm any of my lovely un-cut paper in my stash for this! This was the last card for my Use Your Scraps Challenge and I am happy to say I am getting rid of my scrap pile (I think I can, I think I can)! No really, I can after looking at mostly just it for the last month and a half! It is starting to stiffle my creativity and now my kiddos will be the proud new owners of it. I'm sure they will have it cut and punched to pieces in no time leaving me no chance to change my mind! Beautiful job as always ladies and thanks for the fun challenge! Oh and Happy 16th Birthday Madison!!
