CTMH Happy Birthday August Stamp of the Month Cricut Design Space Card

Happy Wednesday crafty friends,

Today I am sharing another fun card featuring the August, Stamp of the Month stamp set. Here is what I came up with.

Here is the completed card. I started by creating the card base in the Cricut Design Space software. I used cut files from the new Cricut Artistry cartridge. I created the card base and used a cut from design space to create the overlays.

Here’s a closer look at the pretty flowers and leaves. I used cuts again from the Cricut Artistry and cut the flowers and leaves out of white cardstock.

Once I cut the flowers out, I used my Glacier ink pad and my buttons, bits and bobs stamp set.

I then used my Flaxen ink pad and another stamp from the same button, bits and bobs stamp to stamp onto the leaves.

Lastly, for my inking, I used my whisper ink pad  and sponged the solid butterfly. A soft yet subtle color.

 

I then curled the petals to the flower and grouped them onto the frame I chose. I added some pearls to the centers of the flowers and then curled the butterfly  wings.

Here is what the card looks like slightly opened. I love the soft, pretty colors against the kraft cardstock base.

CTMH August Stamp of the Month For You

Hello crafty friends,

Today I am sharing my first of several cards showcasing this month’s Stamp of the Month set.

This set is only $5 with a purchase of $50 or more. Of course to sweeten the pot, I will be sharing several free cutting files with you if you purchase the stamp set through my link.

Here’s a look at the complete project. I started by cutting out the base in some kraft cardstock. I then turned to my hopscotch papers from Close To My Heart. I used some red, white, green and brown cardstock to cut out the other elements.

Here’s a closer look at the cute little cherry die cuts I created.  I cut the top layer in some hopscotch patterned paper and then used some red cardstock for the bottom layers.  For the accents, I used a touch of my green stickles for the leaves and for the cherries I used some pink glitter gems from Close To My Heart. I did add some foam tape underneath the leaves and under the scalloped circle die cut to give them just a bit of lift.

Next I turned to my August Stamp of The Month set and stamped the frame with my Juniper Ink Pad and then followed up by stamping the sentiment with my Cranberry ink pad. For the top of the tag, I added some Pixie thick twine.


Here is one last look at my completed card. Super cute and perfect for the intended recipient.

Cricut Artistry Hot Air Balloon Card

Hello crafty friends,
I am back with you again, sharing another of my recent cards using the new Cricut Artistry Cartridge.

Here’s a look at the completed card. I created the base of the card using the design space file. I cut it in kraft cardstock.

I then cut a mat out of white cardstock. I then sponged it with my juniper ink pad and my crystal blue ink pad

I then cut out the balloon with some heartstrings paper.

I then cut some clouds in white and some more patterned paper from the heartstrings collection.

I used some more of my crystal blue ink pad and used the hello stamp set from the sentiments that come with the Cricut Artistry bundle.

This is what the Design Space file looks like. This file is usable ONLY with the Cricut Explore, the Cricut Design Space software and the Cricut Artistry cartridge. It is FREE to those who purchase the bundle from me.
