Happy Wednesday crafty friends,
Today I am sharing another fun card featuring the August, Stamp of the Month stamp set. Here is what I came up with.
Here is the completed card. I started by creating the card base in the Cricut Design Space software. I used cut files from the new Cricut Artistry cartridge. I created the card base and used a cut from design space to create the overlays.
Here’s a closer look at the pretty flowers and leaves. I used cuts again from the Cricut Artistry and cut the flowers and leaves out of white cardstock.
Once I cut the flowers out, I used my Glacier ink pad and my buttons, bits and bobs stamp set.
I then used my Flaxen ink pad and another stamp from the same button, bits and bobs stamp to stamp onto the leaves.
Lastly, for my inking, I used my whisper ink pad and sponged the solid butterfly. A soft yet subtle color.
I then curled the petals to the flower and grouped them onto the frame I chose. I added some pearls to the centers of the flowers and then curled the butterfly wings.
Here is what the card looks like slightly opened. I love the soft, pretty colors against the kraft cardstock base.
Here is what the card base looks like. I am giving this away for free to those who make any sized purchase through my CTMH link.
I am also giving away the Cherry Base SVG card. Be sure to head over and do a little shopping. The end of this month brings the end of the catalog and that means many, many fantastic products will be discontinued.
