FSJ Stuck On You Cactus Stamp & Die Cut Set Card

Happy  crafty friends!
Hope you had an enjoyable weekend and you have started your week off with some fun crafty goodness! Today I am sharing a card I created recently using several Fun Stampers Journey Products.

Here's a look at my completed card. The finished size is a standard A2 size (4.25 x 5.5). The base of the cardstock is some Pool Play colored cardstock.

I started by using the cloud die as a mask to sponge some ink on my background paper. This made the appearance of clouds.

I then used the sun burst die to cut out two layers. One in yellow and one in whip cream cardstock. I lightly inked the edges of the whip cream die cut. I layered them one on top of the other and slightly offset them. Next I used the cascading heart die cut and cut out the trail of hearts. I then used some liquid glue and and sprinkled some Journey Sparkle Dust glitter on the white hearts.

For the focal point, I stamped two of the cactus in flower pot stamps from the Stuck on You Stamp set. I then used the coordinating die cut to cut them out and some colored pencils to color them in. I layered these onto a couple of circles. I then created a bow using some Journey Natural Thread and added a cute little embellishment from the Confectionery Days Embellishment set.

For the bottom, I cut a strip of some patterned paper from the project me patterned paper collection and used a strip of the cool pool shimmer tape to create a nice clean border. All of this sits on a base of Cool Pool Cardstock.

I finished off the card by cutting out a banner from the banner parade die set and stamping the sentiment with some lemongrass ink and trimming it out. I finished it off with a few sequins.

Here is one last look at the completed card. Super fun with lots of great, easy elements.
