Wonderful Wednesday Psalm 46 card

Happy Hump Day crafty friends,
Today I am sharing yet another card I created with this month’s Stamp of The Month Set… What A Hoot. You only have through the end of the month to order this super fun set. It is only $5 with a qualifying $50 purchase from my Close To My Heart link.

Here’s a look at my completed card. I used a kraft cardstock base and then used some of the pretty patterned paper from the Seaside Paper Pack collection. I then used my Pazzles Inspiration Vue and cut out the lattice panel from this week’s free SVG bundle with purchase…(see below). I then used a piece of the same seaside patterned paper both sides have a great pattern to them. I then used some of the natural metallic twine and wrapped it around my border and then added a pretty gem from the Rosewood Assortment. The sentiment is from the Look to the light stamp set and the pretty flower is from this month’s What A Hoot Stamp of the Month Stamp Set.

Here’s a closer look at the pretty little flowers. They are part of this week’s SVG bundle. I started by cutting them out in plain white cardstock. I then inked the edges with my sponge and my cotton candy ink pad. I then used my Tender Pink Marker and drew in the veins. I finished them off by adding some brown gems from the brown and tan gem assortment to the centers. I also cut the leaves from the same SVG bundle again in plain white cardstock. I then inked them with my Pear Ink pad

For the flowers and leaves, I started with plain white cardstock and used some of the svg files from this month’s free SVG bundle with purchase(see below)  I then used the Pixie mini ink pad from the new Whimsy Ink Pad set and the Topiary from the Adventure Ink Pad set.

Once I inked the flowers, I used my tender pink marker to create the the lines on the petals.

Once I added the lines, I curled the petals slightly and then added some brown gems from the brown and tan assortments.

The Oval scalloped frame is also from the SVG bundle. I inked the center oval edges with my Juniper Ink Pad. I stamped the flower from the What A Hoot stamp set as well as the sentiment with my Desert Sand ink pad. I used some foam tape to lift the scalloped frame from the lattice layer to give it just a little extra dimension.

Here’s a closer look at the Natural Metallic twine bow with that pretty gem. I like that the twine has just a touch of shimmer to it. The gem on top of the bow is from the Rosewood Assortment embellishment set.

  1. Gorgeous card. Love the lattice diecut and pretty flowers, and especially the verse.
