Day 10 of 25 Days

Hello crafty friends,

Welcome to day 10 of my 25 days of Christmas and Year Round Crafting.  I am sharing a card today for my Scrapyland DT.

So let’s get right to it.

Here is a look at my finished card. The pretty plaid paper is from the Die Cuts With A View Sweet Stack. The hearts are a Quickutz 2x2 die set, corner flourishes are the Spellbinders D-Lites Corner Flourish die set, the flower flower (pseudo star) is a Momenta Die set. All of these wonderful dies can be found at Scrapyland.com  as well as the DCWV Sweet Stack Paper.

Here is a closer look showing you how I colored the image with my various Copic Sketch Markers. I added just a touch of stardust glitter glaze to the angel’s wings. All of the copics I used are listed below and can be found at Scrapyland.com. I finished off my image by dusting the background with some pretty pastel, pearlescent blue chalk.

Day 9 of 25 Days Christmas And Year ‘Round

Hello crafty friends, So sorry today's post is super late. Bright house had to come out and get our internet wireless router replaced!  So now that I am back online, here is my project for today. I created this card with some DCWV Die Cuts With A View Bella Armoire Stack Paper. I also colored my bell in with some Copic Markers and some CTMH Markers.

Here is a view of my finished card. It measures 5.5x5.5.

Here is a view of the inside of the card. The Christmas blessing sentiment is an svg cut file from the PCW Christmas Blessings CF Set at PCW. All it needs is my personal note and it is ready to be sent off.

Here is a closer-side view of the bell. It was a PCW digi stamp. I colored it in with various Copic Markers and also the Cranberry CTMH Marker.

All of the paper, I used for this card came from one piece of paper in the DCWV Bella Armoire Stack

Quick Tip

The white scalloped frame was created by using an EK Success border punch. I started with a 4.5” square of white cardstock. I measured to find the center of each of the four sides. Which was approximately 2.25”. I used my pencil to create a line. If using a scoring tool, then you only  have to measure two sides to draw a line. The most important thing is to start your first punch right in the center in the line.

Day 8 of 25 Days

Hello crafty friends,

Hope you’re having a craft-filled day today! I am sharing another Christmas card today.

Here’s my card. It is a pretty simple card. I used my Spellbinders Frames for the background. I used and EK Success Tree punch for the base of the tree. For the “tree branches” I used a Martha Stewart Punch to layer the leaves. I just used the base of the tree to position leaves. For the border I used an EK Success border punch and just punched it back to back. I then threaded some ribbon through it. Shocking, but here is another card created without any of my beloved Die Cuts With A View Patterned Paper...lol!

Day 7-2013 Treat or Note Card Box

Happy Sabbath crafty friends,

Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by and share some of your crafty time with me. It’s a busy season of getting some Holiday crafting done, so let’s get right to it.

Today’s project was created with my Artiste Cartridge. I used some very old Basic Grey paper and cut this cute little box out.  I then made some cute little matching notecards. I printed out the little digi stamp from PaperCraftingworld.com. I used my EK Success border punch to decorate the tops and wrapped them with some twine.

Here is a closer look at the box.  I Cut the red label out of the Cricut Artiste Cartridge and then used my border punch to again, decorate the top. I created the cute little red ribbon bow and topped it with a red button and some more green twine.

Here is a closer look at one of the cute little note cards.  This will make the perfect little gift for my wonderful SIL who loves little notecards. Of course you can always fill the box with other little gifts.
