FREEBIE ALERT…Pazzles & Die Cuts With A View = A Pot Of Crafty Gold

Hello crafty friends,
Today I am sharing a project I created recently for the Pazzles Craft Room. I created this easy and cute pot of gold box.
Pot O Gold Box by Melinda Beltran
To create my box, I used my Pazzles Vue cutter and the software to create the file. I then turned to some of my trust DCWV stacks for all the fun paper. I used papers from the Honey Chic Paper Stack as well as the Glitzy Glitter Stack.

The glitzy glitter cut like butter and didn’t shed! I don’t know why I have been hoarding this stack….LOL!!!  I finished off the gold with a little line of stickles. The project came together very quickly and I loved the results!

For those of you that don’t know. I create electronic die cut (SVG) files for the Pazzles craft room. Here is just the latest release. All of these are free to download when you subscribe to the Pazzles Craft Room!

Here’s a couple of pictures to show some of the sticker sheets and the monthly covers. I love the bright bold colors. This is an 18 month planner and was built to last with super sturdy cover and back and nice ring binding.

Paper House Productions March Planner Month View
One of the great things about this planner is that it has the monthly view and also the weekly view. So you can get a quick overview o your month and then get down to the details with your weekly views.

Here’s a closer view of one of my month view pages. I decided to make my planner about my crafty life and my walk with the Lord.

Here’s a closer look at the left side. I decided to create some numbers and punch them out with a circle punch.

Here’s a picture of the other side. I really liked the extra space at the bottom for writing notes, goals, lists, etc.  I used a stamp and several of the cute stickers from the planner set. I also used those sweet cupcake stickers form the Sweet Treats Sticker set, the pink hearts from the Pandas Sticker set and also  a potted cactus from the Succulents Sticker Set.

Here’s a closer look at one of the pages. I used a mix of the fun stickers included with the planner. I used some of my sharpie markers to add color. I also used a couple of stamps and some paper from the Baby Girl Banner Paper.

Paper House Productions Planner with Cut File
Here’s a closer look at the cut file insert I created. I wanted a tab at the top that would take me right to my current week. So I used my trusty Pazzles Inspiration Electronic Die Cut Machine and created the insert so that it would pop right into my planner quickly and easily.

Here’s a look when it is popped out of my planner. I decided to hand letter this sentiment to myself. I used my black pen to outline and color in the letters. I then used some colored pencils, glitter pen and some silk luster for the drops.

I also created a couple of other inserts. A heart shaped insert and a circle shaped insert.

DCWV February Stackaholic Challenge w Baby Girl Stack & Pazzles

Hello crafty friends,
It’s the last day of the month and that means the final day to play in the Die Cuts With A View Monthly Stackaholic Challenge! This month was a sketch challenge. Here is my project for the layout challenge.

This is the sketch we were to follow.

Die Cuts With A View Baby Girl 2013 Stack
I used papers from the Baby Girl 2013 Stack.

Here’s a closer look at the border with her name. I designed and cut the border on my Pazzles.  I actually used a piece of paper from the stack and just used the back side of it. So even my “white cardstock” is actually from the same stack. I used some blue Bazzill cardstock for the letters and then some white cardstock for the hearts. I colored the hearts with my Rose Quarts Spectrum Noir Glitter Pens.

Here’s a closer look at the Prima flowers and the cute little tag from a stack of tags by DCWV called White Fern Tag.

I was surprised to see they made a 6 x 6 pad to match this paper. It has some beautiful, soft prints.

Here is the rest of the title. I again created and cut it from my Pazzles. You cannot see in this picture but I did add a little of my Spectrum Noir clear glitter to it. It gave it a real soft sparkle.

Here’s a closer look at my top border. I wove some ribbon through the top of the border and then added some large pearls in between. I thought it gave the layout a nice top with some great added dimension and texture.

Here is one last look at the layout.  The precious little model for this is my beloved friend’s great-granddaughter Clara.  This child is such a cutie patootie! It is an absolute pleasure that I get to scrapbook this little peanut!!!

Well that’s about all for today crafty friends.  Don't forget to head over to the DCWV Blog so that you can join in the next challenge!
