Good morning crafty friends,
Here is my details post on the layout I created for our Cricutlicious Saturday post.
 dcwv linen closet2 dream layout-475
Here is my layout. I used the DCWV Linen Closet2 Stack.
The paper is so pretty and some of them are gold foil.

Here is a closer look at my flowers. I used my Cricut Artiste Cartridge for the flowers and the leaves. I added copper and gold brads to the centers.

DCWV Butterfly Garden Card

Good morning crafty friends,
I wanted to share a card I created using the beautiful DCWV Butterfly Garden Stack paper.
I also used several cut files from the Pazzles Craft Room to create this pretty card.
dcwv-butterfly-garden-475_thumb1
Here is a view of the card closed. It is the Gate Fold Card from the Pazzles Craft Room Fun Folds Card Set. The center floral medallion is a doily cut file and a flower cut file from the craft room. As you can see I just layered and sized the “flower” so that it had 12 layers. I lightly inked the edges of each layer with my Chocolate Ink and then staggered them. I added a pearl gem to the center. On the doily I simply added some White Opal Liquid Pearls for some more visual interest.

Here is a view of the card with the belly band off and opened. The center is a scalloped flap and the sides are decorated with the deco flourish from the Pazzles Craft Room.

This is a view of the center fold with the flap opened. I added in a beautiful Quick Quotes Vellum sentiment. I didn’t want to cover up the pretty design on the paper. I also cut it so that the design of the paper would more or less remain in tact. You can follow the floral stem up from the bottom center to the top center as well as the floral sprig. The picture doesn’t show that the paper is a really light pink with a deep chocolate print. It isn’t black and pink. So I inked the edges of the paper with my Chocolate Ink Pad. The center sentiment area is left blank. This card is for this month’s IFTL recipients so they need to be blank.

Here is a closer look at one of the side panels with the deco element cut file. I added a pearl in the center. I used some Maltball Bazzill Smoothie cardstock and it cut like butter.

Citrus Stack Card

Good morning crafty friends,
Today I am sharing a project I created for today’s Die Cuttin’ Divas Challenge blog. They offer a new challenge each Tuesday.

Today’s challenge is a color challenge: Orange and White
 citrus-stack-card-475
Here’s my card. I used the Card Deco 8113 Cut File from PCW. It is a sneak peek and will be available this Saturday.  I used the DCWV Citrus Stack for the paper. It is pre-glittered and very pretty. I got the 6x6 stack. That is something different for me as I only get the 12x12 stacks. I am a scrapbooker at heart. BUT, I couldn't pass it up as it was on clearance at my local Michaels and they didn't have it in 12x12...so there you have it. My first ever 6x6 stack. Money is really tight these days so anything on clearance is a fabulous find :-)

Here is a view of the card slightly opened. Both edges of the cut file have the pretty scalloped edging.

Here is a closer view of the pretty roses and the gorgeous decorative element. I added some White Opal Liquid Pearls and some flat back pearls and done. It was a really easy card to complete...and easy is good!!!!

Shabby Roses Card

Good morning crafty friends,
Hope your weekend was a fabulous one and you were able to get some crafting done! I have a card I want to share with you today. It was inspired by a photo challenge at the Shabby Tea Room blog.
DT Call - 8th Term
Here’s the picture. I have personally always loved the shabby tea room and that “style”, but I spend a lot of time creating fun and cutesy type projects. I really am trying my hand more at all that “shabby goodness” out there Smile

Anyway, here is the card I created that was inspired by the photo.
shabby tea room card-475
Here’s a look at my card. I used the Card Square Frame-624 cut file from PCW as well as the Frame Segments file (coming soon). All of the paper is from DCWV The Luxury Stack! The DCWV Luxury stack paper has a really pretty, pearlized sheen to it. It also cut like butter on my Pazzles Inspiration.

rose closeup-475
Here is a close up of one of the roses I created. I simply cut the petals out of the DCWV paper and then inked the edges with my Chestnut Roan Cat's Eye Chalk Ink. I then staggered the layers and shaped the petals. I then used some of my White Opal Liquid Pearls for the center. I also hit the edges of the petals with my Crystal Stickles. Just to give it some soft and subtle bling.

rose cluster closeup-475
Here is a close up of the 3 roses cluster on the bottom. You can see here that I used the Petal Pink Liquid Pearls for the centers of the "sprigs"  These are the same paper. I just flipped it and used the back side of the paper. It is actually a very light cream or vintage white and not a bright white back, so I thought it was perfect.

shabby tea room card2-475
Here is another look at the card. You can see that the back of the card is framed like the front. It is very delicate looking. I finished off the card by adding some White Liquid pearls around the card to mimic tiny pearls. I have not added a sentiment to the center of this card yet as I am not sure if it will be for a birthday, anniversary or just because. So I will wait to add that in.

I Used The Following Products

white opal pearl
crystal stickles
chestnut roan
Chestnut Roan
Cat’s Eye Chalk Ink

Well that about covers it for today. Thank you for sharing your crafty time with me.  Be sure to come back tomorrow.  I have another crafty work of heART to inspire you with!
