100th Cooking With Cricut Challenge!!

Welcome to Cooking With Cricut’s very special SURPRISE “Thank You” Blog Hop and Challenge. Why is it so special?  There are several reasons!  The first reason -- it is our 100th Cooking With Cricut challenge; the second is to thank our wonderful leader and “Master Chef” Melinda Beltran; and finally, to thank YOU!  Thank you for supporting and encouraging us with your visits, kind words and for playing along with our weekly challenges and hops.  We love crafting with you!

Melin started Cooking With Cricut challenges in October 2010 to encourage crafters to find new and different ways to use their Cricut cartridges.  And she has accomplished that and so much more!  She has given scores of crafters a place on her Design Teams which quickly turned into a sisterhood of women who care for and encourage each other; who lift each other and their families up in prayer; and who have shared their hearts and their art through many outreach projects.  And I know there are so many of you out there that have been touched by her words, her art and her generous spirit as well!

So this is our SURPRISE “Thank You” tribute to our beloved Melin! There are 21 Design Team members offering up their heartfelt thanks to our "Master Chef" -- make sure you travel through to each of their blogs.  You won’t want to miss any of these awesome creations!!

I created a very special CWC Top Chef Award for Melin . . .
I used the Cricut Decal cartridge for the Cricut Chef and SCAL for the text.

Thanks so much for hopping with us.  We hope you’ll join us and leave a “thank you” in the comment section for Melin and link-up your own "Thank You" card!  (You could be our next "Top Chef!")  Here are some guidelines:

  • Must follow the challenge topic.
  • Must be a NEW project for this challenge, please no back dated posts.
  • Must have a link back to this post on your blog.
  • Must link your project through Inlinkz and not just your blog.
  • Must use your Cricut in some capacity.
  • Must have fun!
  • You may gladly combine challenges . . . we love to pile it on TOO!

Now it’s time for you to head on over to see Madison at Funky Cards – she’s the next stop on this party train!

Cartridge Showcase: Ribbons and Rosettes

Hey Everyone!

Welcome to another Cartridge Showcase! I hope you all had a great weekend and maybe even got in some crafting!

Hi I am Court from Court's Craft Corner! And today I am proud to showcase the Ribbon and Rosette cricut cartridge! It is a realy awesome cartridge and I should probably use it more often, because Ieverytime I use it I really like how my project turns out! Today I will show you how this cartridge can be used in card making and scrapbooking and not only for rosettes.

This first card I made is a birthday card! If you were to mail this you would need to add extra postage, but I hand delivered mine to my cousin and she LOVED it! Here is the link to the original post!

This 8 by 8 layout was a fathers gift for my daddy. I added a picture of him and his daddy after taking the picture. Here is the link to the original post!

The last card was really fun to make. The butterfly, scallop thing a ma gig, and the border strip were all cut from the cartridge!

I have a lot of fun with this cartridge and if you have made anything with it I would love to see! Just leave a link in your comment!

Don't forget about our two current challenges: Our Die Cut and or Stamp Challenge and our Cricut Challenge! Just click the links at the top to join the fun!

Thank you for making us a part of your crafty time! We appreciate you all so much!
