I used Base Camp and Walk In My Garden to complete this layout.

Here is a layout I created for this challenge. I realize it doesn’t look as “Springy” as it really is. It photographed darker. The pink is a light pink. This is one of those layouts I like to call a “One Hit Wonder” In other words, all the flowers, leaves and sentiment came from one cartridge. The cartridge was the Bloom Lite Cartridge. This also fit nicely into this week’s Cricut challenge at Simply Scrapping. Be sure to head over there and enter in the Cricutlicious fun there too!

Here is a view of the entire layout. I used my Cricut to cut out these adorable little Turtles, the Flower Spray and the Super Cute tree. The cutting files will be available at PaperCraftingWorld.com by Saturday(tomorrow). The gorgeous patterned paper is from Quick Quotes. It is their new Mary's Garden Collection. It just looked like the perfect paper for this project!

Here is a close up of the "appliciously" cute tree. Even the apples have little bows :) I used Quick Quote's Green Tea Chalk Ink to edge the tree. It complimented their paper perfectly! What a great value too! Only $2.49 and let me tell you this will last you AWHILE!

Here is a verse I found that would be appropriate for today.

Thank you Gaby for all your hard work and for being such a wonderful person. For those who don’t know Gaby; she is such a wonderful lady.  Kind, thoughtful, caring and such a giver. I pray your birthday will be filled with abundant blessings!  Thank you so much for coming by. Have a wonderful day!

Here is my project

mothers day gift idea-500wjl
http://www.mypapercrafting.com/2011/04/ccr-mothers-day-gift-idea-hop.html
I am going to give this candle holder to my mom so I thought I would “dress it up” a bit. I made the flowers by using my 50 States Cartridges and the large rose was made using my Gypsy and welding some “leaves” together.

The card was made using the Beautiful Rustic Die Cut With A View Papers and the Lacy Labels Cartridge. The tag was cut at 4.5”

Here is a close up of the flowers. They started out as white and I glitter misted them and inked them.

Here is a shot of the card.

This is an angled shot to try and show the pretty glitter on the paper. The cut really well in your Cricut.

Be sure to also head over to the other Design Team Members
blogs and check out their wonderful work!

Thank you so much for stopping by!
