Day 5–25 Days of Cricut–FREE File

day 5-300
Happy Sunday Crafters!
Thank you for joining us for another day of our 25 Days of Cricut (Crafting) holiday fun!  It has been such a pleasure doing these projects for your holiday crafting inspiration!   So let’s get right into the magic!
Today’s projects are still in keeping with our challenge here at CookingWithCricut.com. So be sure to join in the fun. You still have plenty of time!
First Up:
I made this card using the Christmas Cartridge and my expression.
cricut ornaments seasons greetings card idea-500
The finished card size is 5.5 x 5.5
I cut the ornaments out in red on black out and then plain white. I then inked the top layers and added some liquid pearls on the bottom ornament. I finished them off with a little bit of ribbon. I created the Season’s Greetings Digital Stamp.

Next:
duck the halls
Here is a view of the entire layout. I created all the elements so they can be cut on your Cricut using either MTC or SCAL. If you aren’t familiar with this, I have a couple of pages on my website Here and Here that explains this.

baby's first version
Finally, here is a version with a different title. I have several people in my circle of friends who are working on baby pages, so I thought this might suite some of them

So for the FREE files:
Today I am giving away the Baby’s First Christmas Title, The Duck The Halls Title and the the Season’s Greetings Digital Stamp. All three of these are in PDF format so they can be printed out. BUT, I am also including the Baby’s and Duck letters for those who want to cut the letters out.

Here is a close up of the bear. She is all tangled in her tinsel and lights :-)
But at least she is bundled up in her sweater.

25 Days of Cricut Day 2

Good morning everyone,
Thank you for stopping by for day 2 of our 25 days of Cricut holiday fun! So let’s get right to it!
Here is a layout I created using the new Inspired Hearts Cartridge.christmas inspired hearts cricut layout-500
Here is a close up shot of the nativity cut that is on this cartridge. I cut it out on plain white paper and then the shadow on black. I used glimmer mist and inks to give it the distressed/vintage look. The pictures don’t show the soft, subtle shimmer of the glimmer mist and the metallic gold ink. It is very pretty in person :-)

Okay, I can’t leave those of you who have your cutter but don’t have the cartridges out,
so I created a “version of this layout with cutting files I created.

For the sake of time, I used the same layout, I just switched out the cutting files. Here is a view of the entire layout with “my version” of cuts.christmas nativity scrapbook layout idea-500
Here is a close up shot of the nativity cutting file I created. I cut it in white and black paper and employed the same techniques as described earlier to give it the aged – vintage look.nativity cutting file svg wpc gsd knk-500

Here is my version of the title. I started with a font called “fancy” and then I added my own
touches so that it more closely resembled the Cricut cut.Jesus cutting file svg wpc gsd knk-500

Then I had cut all the cuts in smaller versions and created cards out of the same style cuts and used the “left over” paper to create these cards to they would have a similar look to the layouts.

Well, I hope you enjoyed the projects today. Today I am gifting you the Jesus and Nativity cut files I created…PLUS the Digi Stamp Title Block :-) May the abundant blessing of the almighty fill your hearts this joyous Christmas Season. May the true meaning of the Season be your compass and guiding light today and each day He gives!  Many Christmas Blessings,
