Easy Pazzles Pen Tool Cards

Hello crafty friends,
Melin here with you today. Sharing some quick, easy and cute cards with you. All you need is your pen tool, some pens and a few files from the craft room.

I started by using the flower frame, flower 4, flower 5 and journaling butterfly single stroke files from the craft room. I edited the frame just a bit. Combined the flower files and added the butterfly to the top right corner. I then used a font on my computer for the sentiment. I did create two extra outlines once I had my design. One for cutting and one for making a mat. I used some fine sharpie pens with my pen tool. I just made sure that the file had the corresponding colors for each color I used. Once my Inspiration did all the "drawing", I switched back to my blade and cut my design out. I then assembled my cards. Super easy and great to have on hand.

Spellbinders and Die Cuts With A View Teapot Box

Hello crafty friends,

Happy hump day. I am a little behind on my posting. Today I am sharing a cute project I recently made for my Pazzles DT. Here’s what I came up with.

My finished teapot box. I used the exclusive Spellbinders Digital Die Teapot to create my box. I cut the box base out of some kraft cardstock and then used some pretty DCWV Botanical Stack papers along with some green Bazzill cardstock for all the layers.

Here’s a closer look at the medallion. The stamp is from the Close To My Heart Sweet Moments stamp set. I used my topiary ink pad and stamped it onto some bazzill cardstock. I then used the spellbinders petite scallop oval digital dies to make all the oval frame layers. I then used some White Opal Liquid pearls around the cameo and then used some tiny flat back pearls around the outer frame. I finished off the look by adding some Prima flowers and some lace I had in my stash. Now I have a pretty little box to keep my tea bags in.

School Is Cool Layout

Happy Monday crafty friends,
Hope your week is starting out on a great note. I have one last Chalk It Up project to share with you so let’s get right to it.

Here’s a look at my complete layout. It is a two page 12x12 layout. All the papers are from the Chalk It Up Paper Pack with the exception of the black paper for the mats and the cardstock used for the die cut pieces. I used the School Is Cool SVG die cut file set from PaperCraftingWorld.com

Here’s a closer look at the cute little bookworm svg die cut file. He is sitting on top of his stack of books and looking so smart with his glasses. I used my Whimsy mini ink pad set , my Adventure mini ink pad set and my Basics mini ink pad set to ink in the pieces of the bookworm as well as the other die cut pieces. I added hash marks and other details on the pencil with my fine tip black pen and my chalk marker.

Here’s a closer look at the cute little apples and another pencil. I used my watercolor pencils and my blending pen to create the vines on the leaves.

Here’s a closer look at one of the chipboard elements from the Chalk It Up complements set. I love the chipboard. It is nice and sturdy. I used some foam tape to give it a little lift and extra dimension.

Here are a few more of the chipboard elements from the same Chalk It up Complements set. Again, I used some foam tape to give the center sentiment some extra lift.

Of course it is national stamping month so what would a layout be without a little stamping on it?! I used July’s Stamp of the Month set… Circus Alphabet and my Lagoon Ink Pad and stamped the is. I used my circle punch as well as a scalloped circle punch to create the base. I also used some foam tape to give it a little extra dimension.

Here is one last look at the complete layout. I think it turned out super cute and is ready for some great school memories.
