Cartridge Showcase: Holiday Cakes

Hey Crafty Friends,

Welcome to this week's Thursday Cartridge Showcase! I hope you have all had a good and crafty week so far! Today I have a bunch of cards made with the Holiday Cakes Cricut Cartridge! They are all very simple cards, because I am a simple girl! I had a lot of fun making them. So, lets jump right into it!

The Holiday Cakes cartridge has a really cute font,  awesome boarders, and the perfect image for every occasion!

I think it is important to know that the Cake Cartridges can be used in ALL of the Cricut machines! The images are all just two layers and so super easy to put together!

The first card I made is for my cousin who is expecting and just found out that she is having a baby girl! I used the stork image to create this all pink card!

This next card is a thank you I made for one of the birthday gifts I received. I used the elephant image and three different pattern papers!

For this card I used the supper cute font included on this cart and one of the many many borders!

For this simple note card, I used the spring wreath shadow!

This is a card that I made for Madison's I Feel The Love Project using the star border!

This last card is my favorite! I love the colors pink and green together! I used a floral design, but
Provo Craft calls it a paisley!

Check back in, Tuesday March 6th for a PaperCraftingWorld.com Design Team challenge
and Wednesday, March 7th for a CookingWithCricut.com Design Team challenge!

~Court

Thank you Court for such a wonderful showcase. Thank you for letting us know that the Cake Cartridge can be used on all Cricut machines. These cards are all so different and amazing! All this from ONE Cartridge!

Challenge #75: Carnival

Welcome to Cooking With Cricut!  Today is both wonderful and a bit sad.  Wonderful in that we have an awesome project challenge chosen by Chefs Yolie and Celeste.  They chose the theme Carnival or Carnival Birthday. And sad because this Design Team term has come to an end and we must bid a fond farewell to:  Dalis Acevedo, Adrian Allen, Yolie Burke, Debbie Butcher, Holly Gagnon, Celeste Lombas, Felicia McRae, Elizabeth Mindemann, Jenny Richards and Linda Therrien. We wish them all the best in their crafty endeavors. Thank you ladies for helping to make CWC such a fun and inspirational place.
Here is what the ladies created for today's challenge . . .

Designer Melin created this cute layout using the soon to be released Clown Digi from PCW. She also used the Art Philosophy cartridge for the banner and font.
Here is a close up of the clown. I printed out the "pre-colored" digi and then added the dimension and shading with my Copic Markers.

Now, it's your turn!  Link up your favorite carnival and/or carnival birthday themed project -- you could be our next Top Chef!  Here are the guidelines . . .

  • Must be a NEW project for this challenge, please no back dated posts.
  • Must have a link back to this post on your blog.
  • Must link your project through Inlinkz and not just your blog.
