Giving Thanks Blog Hop-QQ Project

Good afternoon Crafty Friends,
Here are a couple of projects I recently made. One for my Quick Quotes Design Team assignment and the second one for our Giving Thanks Blog Hop going on this weekend!

First here is a Project I made for the Quick Quotes Design Team.
Quick Quotes Love kit club layout 500
I used the contents of the Club Q Kit to make the majority of this project. I simply added some Petaloo Flowers and Berry Spray as well as a piece of Designer Paper from the Cherry Truffle, Quick Quotes Line.  You can still purchase the November Club Q kits HERE

Here is a close up of the clock faces that are printed on the paper. I used some Stickles glitter glue to add just a touch of interest to the design.

Here is another close up of the glitter work.
love banner close up
Here is a close up of the Love banner. The banner was pre-cut in the kit and said the word Time. I simply flipped them over and used the “backside” and added the letters to spell “Love”.
paper bow close up
Here is a close up of the paper bow I created. The cutting file will be available soon on PaperCraftingWorld.com.

Here is my second project. A Turkey layout.

Thanks for stopping by!

Welcome to Our "Giving Thanks" Blog Hop!

Welcome to the CookingWithCricut.com “Giving Thanks” Blog Hop!  Today’s hop is all about Thanksgiving decorations – for your home and table.

No one knows for certain when the “first” thanksgiving occurred. People have been giving thanks for as long as people have existed. Indigenous nations all over the world have celebrations of the harvest that come from very old traditions; for Native peoples, thanksgiving comes not once a year, but every day, for all the gifts of life.

So, even though it is tucked between the two monster-sized holidays of Halloween and Christmas, and receives far less attention, Thanksgiving is a very important holiday. It is a time for us to give thanks to our God, for the things he has bestowed upon us; a time for family and friends; a time for turkeys, stuffing, and pumpkin pie; and a time for Indian corn, holiday parades and football games.

We are so blessed and thankful for your continued support and encouragement!  And we always love to see what you create for our weekly challenges and blog hops.

Cartridge Showcase: Thanksgiving

Happy Thursday and welcome to Cooking With Cricut's Cartridge Showcase!

Today Chef Linda is featuring the Thanksgiving Seasonal cartridge.  This cartridge is filled with images of Pilgrims, food, and phrases perfect for creating place settings, dinner invitations, table decorations, and so much more.
I am very excited to be spotlighting the Thanksgiving Seasonal Cartridge. I fell in love with this cartridge when I first saw it, mainly for the wording. I decided to make a scrapbook page of my brother’s wedding and used "Thankful Heart" for the title and then accented the page with the pumpkin and acorn embellishments that are also on the cartridge.

I was very surprised to see this little card on the cartridge. I cut the card and the layer out at 3 inches. The "Thank you" was cut at 2 1/4". I thought this little card would be perfect to set on the plate for a younger member of the family that wanted to say Grace at the Thanksgiving dinner. So I put a easy to read prayer inside the card.
This last project is just a simple greeting card using the phrase "Harvest Blessing". The title was cut out at 2 1/2 inches and I just added a glitter ribbon from Michael’s to dress it up a bit.

Beautiful projects, Linda! Thanks so much for sharing them with us in today's cartridge showcase. Please make sure you click over and leave Linda some "love" at her blog!

Mark your calendars for some more Thanksgiving inspiration -- our "Giving Thanks" Blog Hop is this Saturday, November 19 at 8:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time. We'll be sharing lots of Thanksgiving decorating ideas (no cards in this hop) and some freebies and prizes, too!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! We appreciate it so very much!
