Good morning Crafty Friends,
Ready for another super fun challenge at the Creative Cutter Room?
Today's challenge theme is: God Bless America The Challenge: Create a new project that includes a flag
Link your project over at the Creative Cutter Room to be entered to win a prize!
And the prize is..
A Stamp Set!!
You have until June 29, 2011 to enter your Flag Project.
Here is the layout I made using a flag:
I know it isn’t a “FLAG” on my project but I wanted to do an interpretation of a “flag” for my layout. I used some beautiful shimmery paper from the Paper Temptress. My layout doesn’t have a bunch of Stickles and other “stuff” on it. The paper has such a nice appearance on its own :-)
Here is a close up shot to try and show you how the blue, red and gold all have shimmer on them. The white is just a plain piece of white cardstock. You can hopefully see the reflection of the shimmer. It is really pretty in person.
Here is a close up shot of the background paper. I wanted to try and show you how much texture it has. It is the 12 x 12 Skinny Columns paper from Paper Temptress. Again, it is so pretty all on its own. It’s just hard to capture it in a photograph.
Layout Recipe:
12 x 12 Skinny Columns from the Paper Temptress
Blue, Gold and Red Shimmer Paper From the Paper Temptress
Lacey Labels Cricut Cartridge
Old West Cricut Cartridge
Bear Topper Print N’ Cutz Pattern from PaperCraftingWorld.com
Mocha Mama Chalk Ink From Quick Quotes
White Signo Pen, Black Fine Tip Pen and Dry Decorator Chalks.
