Friends Turtle Layout

Good morning Cricutlicious Friends,
Here is a project I created for the Simply Scrapping Crafts Cricut Challenge. Our challenge was to use some of the feature keys on our Cricut Machines.
Cricut Turtle girl friends ssc5-23-500
Here is a view of the entire page. The DCWV background paper was perfect. It is from the DCWV Grade school stack. The little flies, frogs and stitching are all already on the paer and the little frogs are glittered.

Here is a close up of the little Turtle. I used the Create A Critter Cartridge to piece this turtle together. It is my own version of a turtle.

Every Day in May Blog-Aversary - Day 16

Welcome to Day 16 of Cooking With Cricut's Every Day in May Blog-Aversary!

It's me again . . .  Jen of Musings of a Crafty Mom!  As you may know by now, Cooking With Cricut is having a month long Blogoversary Cele"bear"ation with postings and giveaways every day during the month of May - and each and every day there will be some kind of celebration posted.

And this Saturday, May 21st is our Cele"bear"ation Blog Hop, so mark your calendars and come hop with us!

Saturday was my baby brother's 29th birthday.  He is a bit of a comedian and is always giving me a hard time about being sooooo old -- I'm 17 years older than he.  So I decided it was time for a little sisterly pay-back!  I used the Create-A-Critter and Paper Pups cartridges.  Please stop by my blog for the cut sizes and other details.

Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment! Make sure you check back tomorrow and see the wonderful project Maria Elena created!

Day #5 Everyday in May–CCR Fiesta Challenge

Good morning Crafty friends!

Hope you’re having a wonderful day! Happy Cinco De Mayo for those who celebrate!

Today our Design Team Member Nicole of Croppin Momma Designs is sharing a sweet card she made celebrating the expectancy of a baby!

Here is Nicole’s Cricutlicious creation!
nicole pregnancy card
Nicole created this card using the following cartridges:
New Arrival for Momma and Carriage
Create A Critter for Clouds
Doodlecharms for Sun
Please be sure to head over to Nicole’s Blog for more details on this simply sweet card!

Now for today’s Freebie #5. And My Creative Cutter Room Fiesta Challenge Project!
In honor of Cinco De Mayo, I came up with this cute digi stamp set that I hope you will enjoy!  Here is a picture of a card I made using some of the elements on the set.
fiesta time card-500
I cut the elements out and colored them in with my Copic Markers. I edged the patterned paper as well as the cardstock and the Donkey elements with my Dark Brown Cat’s Eye Chalk Inks. I used the banner with the thick outline. The outline makes cutting it out by hand easier as you don’t have to be as precise :-)
I created the Fiesta Time Digital Stamp in 1.25” and 1” circles so if you have a 1.25” or 1.5” circle punch you can easily cut them out.

Also, here is a picture of the set. It is a pdf file that ANYONE can use.

Remember it will be FREE until tomorrow,
May 6th @ 10am est. time (Detroit USA).

Be sure to head over to the Creative Cutter Room to join in the Fiesta Challenge AND be sure to check out what the rest of the wonderful CCR Design Team came up with! You will have until May 18th to enter your challenge submission. Here is what you can win!!!!

Lastly, hop over to our PCW BLOG. A couple of our Design Team members made some super cute Cinco De Mayo Pages that you will just love to look at!
