Easy Dare 2 B Artzy DIY Shaker Card That Will Octopi Your Heart!

Hello crafty friends,

Today I am back sharing a fun card I created with Dare 2 B Artzy stamps, inks and papers! The paper and stamps are part of the Seas The Day collection! I decided to make a fun shaker card for my project.

My card is an A2 top folding card with a white cardstock base. It features the sweet little Octopus along with some of the fun papers.

 

I set aside the cardstock base and then cut a mat from some of the Sail Away patterned paper pack. I then cut a circle from some of the Seas The Day patterned paper. I then cut out a circle with a center cut out and inked it with some yellow and brown ink. I added some clear transparency to the back so I could make a shaker element.

 

I then stamped, colored and cut out this adorable Octopus that is part of the Seas The Day Stamp set. I stamped him out using some of the wonderful black, dye ink and then colored him with my Copic Markers.

 

I stamped the sentiment using the Turquoise ink and then cut it out. I added some sequins and seed beads into the shaker element and adhered it to the circle mat.

 

To finish off the card, I added a strip from the border along the top of the paper and some twine with a bow. I then adhered all of that to the card base.

 

Here is one last look at my completed card. I think it turned out super cute.
