Happy Sabbath crafty friends,
Today I am sharing a super fun project I recently created. It features the beautiful Rinea foiled paper and an SVG file I created.
Here is a look at my finished lantern lit. I created the SVG file and then used my Cricut Maker to cut all my pieces out.
The finished size is approximately 7 inches high and the width of each side is just over 3.5 inches. That is the base. The panels are just over 3 inches. I created the base with some brown cardstock and then overlayed the panels with some of the mocha rinea foiled paper to give it a metal like finish.
Here is a view of the bottom. I created it with a cut out so that the little battery operated votive will sit in there.
Here is a view of the votive poking through the cutout.
I created it with a lid as well so that you it is accessible through the top. I will be creating a "snowy paneled" version very soon!
Here is a closer look at the finished flower. I used the Rinea Hyacinth die to create the flower.
For the inner part of the flower I "folded" the strips over and then rolled it.The outer edge is just curled over. I then used the leaf portion to make the leaf portions.
Here is one last look at my fall lantern and pen flower.
