RGStudio360.com Community Challenge

Hello crafty friends,
Today I am sharing the card I created for the RGStudio360.com weekly community challenge. Here is my project.
rg challenge 5 merry heart

This week’s challenge is a sketch challenge. For my card base, I started with an A2 top folding black cardstock. I then added in a piece of pink cardstock for the mat. the background paper on the one side of the card is created with images from the RGStudio360 So Loved set. I used the heart. I just added them and then printed it out.

Here is the image of the sketch with the guidelines.

closer view
Here’s a closer look at the main image. It has a cool subway art kind of vibe. It comes from the faithfully yours set. I printed it off and added just a slight bit of color to the heart and then used my silver sharpie to color in the letters of Heart as well as the leaves at the bottom. Here you can also see the fun little dew drops from the Robin’s Nest that I added as a decorative touch.

rinea cu
Here’s a closer look at the beautiful Rinea foiled paper I used for the border. I embossed it with an embossing folder in my stash and it turned out beautiful

bow cu
I finished off my card by adding some soft pink and white twine with a bow and a little pearl to top it off.

Here is one last look at my completed card. It turned out very pretty and will mail easily. The perfect card for my encouragement stash.
