Terrific TuesDIE Birdhouse Card

Happy Terrific TueDIE crafty friends!
Welcome to another Terrific TuesDIE installment! Today I am working with the wonderful Birdhouse Planter Die from CheapoDies.com.

Here’s a look at my completed card. I started with a piece of Kraft cardstock and cut it at 4.25 x 11. I then scored it at 5.5 to make it a top folding base. I then cut a piece of white cardstock for a mat. The next mat and the rest of the patterned papers are from the Kaiser Craft paper pad.

Here’s a closer look at my finished die cut. I cut it out a couple of times using plain white cardstock. I then used my various Copic Markers to color in the die cut. I layered the pieces together to give them dimension. To finish off the die cut, I added some Nuvo White drops to the centers of the flowers. I then stacked my completed die cut onto a couple of layers of the Oval Cross Stitched die set. I added some foam tape between the layers to give them a little lift and dimension.

The border and the sentiment are from the paper pad as well. The border was a pre-cut element included in the pad as well as the sentiment. I trimmed down the sentiment and tucked it under my seam binding ribbon border.

I finished off the ribbon border with a cute bow.
