Hope you are enjoying your holiday weekend! Today I wanted to share this fun and pretty card I recently created. Here’s a look at my project.
Next I cut a piece from the Designer’s Choice paper. It has a pretty gradient so I didn’t have to Ink it. I then used one of the bloom benefits embossing folders and inked it with some Rich Coral Ink. I then ran the inked folder with my paper in it through my amaze machine. I loved the look of the ink in the debossed parts of the impression.
Next I turned to making these pretty flowers. I used some whip cream cardstock and cut out some of the Dahlia Burst largest die. I then cut the die and inked and rolled it. There is a link to a You Tube Video on how I made these below! I then topped them off with some of the craft glue touched with some Journey Sparkle dust. I then stamped and die cut some of the leaves that come in the set and added a little twine for some added interest.
Here’s another look at the flowers. One of them I cut a portion of the die off to make it a little smaller to look more like a bud.
Here’s a closer look at the pretty embossing.
Next I used my Black Licorice ink pad and stamped the sentiment. I added a few of the pretty little sequins from the Journey Sequins Bloom Time set. Now for the border strip, I started with plain Whip Cream Cardstock. I inked it with some Rich Coral Ink and then slathered some Gold Silk on top of that. I love the understated elegance of this look.
Here is one last look at the finished card.
