CraftyMelinda.com: Cricut Artistry You And Me Card

Happy Tuesday crafty friends,
Today I am sharing yet another fun card I created last week for my “Sneak Peek” week of Cricut Artistry Cartridge projects. I shared these on my Facebook page and now am doing the detailed posts for each project.

Here’s a look at the completed card. I started with a 5 x 6.5 base using some kraft cardstock. The patterned papers are all from the Blossom paper collection from Close To My Heart. Such a pretty set of papers. They will be retiring at the end of the month so you will want to be sure and get it before it is gone. I then turned to my Cricut Design Space software and created this card using elements from the Cricut Artistry Cartridge.

I know you can’t see it but I actually cut some transparency paper and laid it on top of the white jar die cut. In real life it adds a bit of shine and dimension to the mason jar die cut.

Here’s a closer look at the flowers. I used some blossom paper to cut them out and then used my Versamarker pen to add some dimension to the berries.

Here is a closer look at the stamped image. It is one of the stamps you get in the Cricut Artistry bundle. I stamped it with my Indian Corn Blue ink pad and stamped it on some light blue cardstock. I then cut an additional mat a little larger. I finished it off by adding some of the Pixie thick twine wrapped around the jar.
