Hope you had a wonderful weekend and kept warm. It was unseasonably cold here in Florida this past weekend. But, I am not complaining. I know there are many areas of the country enduring extreme cold and snow and continue to pray for all those involved in that horrific pile-up on a Michigan highway…real close to my home town area. Today I am sharing a card I created for someone near and dear to me for the upcoming Valentine’s Day. It was a lot of fun to create so let’s get started with the details.

Here’s a look at my finished card. It is a 5.25 x 5.25 finished size. I created the SVG base with my Pazzles Vue Software. Creating with the software is a snap. I created the base with some black cardstock I then cut a piece of red cardstock for a mat and then used my machine to cut out the white cardstock. I used a little bit of my black shimmer tape to add just a touch of bling to the overall look.

Once I cut the white cardstock background piece, I used my Whisper Ink Pad and the Amour Stamp Set to stamp the script background.

Once I stamped the white background with the script stamp, I added the black cardstock lattice panel to it.

Here’s a closer look at the smaller layers with the die cut I heart U Forever. I cut the red mat and then used the same script stamp from the Amour stamp set and my Slate Ink Pad to stamp the red mat background. For the heart, I cut it out of white cardstock and then used the heart shaped stamp from the Forever In My Heart Stamp set. I stamped it with my Slate Ink pad. After I did that, I used the Amour Stamp from the Amour Stamp set and my Black Ink Pad to stamp the Amour Onto the heart. I then added one of the cute little Red puffy heart stickers from the Stuck On You Puffies sticker set to finish off the look. In this closer look, you can also see the black shimmer trim I used on the black pennant. It is a subtle way to add just a little extra flair.

For the sequins, I used my Shin Han Touch Twin Marker: Carmine Marker to color my Silver Sequins to match my project. I love that you can use the Alcohol Markers to color in the lighter sequins to change the color. What a great and economical way to get just the right colored embellishments!

Here is one final look at the finished card. It came together very quickly and very easily.
