Happy Monday crafty friends,
Hope you had an enjoyable weekend. I stressed myself out trying to create a costume for my grandson. I am convinced I am NOT a seamstress. It was a HOT MESS! Needless to say, I am still working on it and IF I can get something presentable done, I will share it with you. In the meantime, I needed to get back to the sanity of my beloved paper crafting. So here is what I have to share with you today.
Here’s a look at my finished card. The base is made from Kraft cardstock and measures 5 x 6.5”. I then cut a mat from cream cardstock. The patterned papers are all from the DCWV Fall and Halloween Basics Stack. This stack is an 8.5 x 11 stack and not the usual 12 x 12 stacks I use. But I really liked the patterns on this one and it was on sale at Joann’s so…I couldn’t pass it up!!!
I followed along with this month’s DCWV Stackaholic Challenge. Here is the sketch.
Here’s a closer look at my cute little pumpkin die cut. He came from the Carving out Memories SVG set from PCW. The leaves are from the CTMH stamp Set Fall Harvest stamp set. I used the matching Fall Harvest Leaves SVG set. I created a video on how to stamp and ink these leaves. To check that out, CLICK HERE
Here’s a closer look at the cute little scarecrow boy sitting digi I used. Also from PCW. I used my various Copic Sketch Markers to color Him in. He was on plain white paper so I used my Pebbles Pastel Chalks to add some subtle color to the background. It warmed up the background just enough to match the cream in the patterned papers and the cream mat. I inked the edge of the image with my Chestnut Roan Cat’s eye.
Here is one last look at the card. I added some gold sequins to finish off the card and all done.
