Yesterday I shared my first of hopefully many Throwback Thursday posts and today is another first. I have decided to do new posts on Fridays called Fontastic Fridays. Trolling through Pinterest this summer was a great source of inspiration. But I am adding a twist on mine. Instead of just compiling a list and sharing the links, I am also going to be sharing a project with one of the free fonts and or possibly use them for the free svg file or digi stamp. So let’s get started.
Top 12 School Fonts
My projects this week have all focused on back to school. So I thought it was only appropriate that I should share some fonts that are school themed. I found a nice mix of them and thought they would be great for a variety of projects. Here are the links to each file.

I do use anti-virus and malware, spyware software when surfing and hope that you do the same. I will be sharing something I created with one of these fonts tomorrow. So be sure to come back then.
So now on to today’s project
Here’s a look at my finished card. Finished size is 5.5 x 5.5. I used the Charming Chevrons Stamp set. The base is kraft cardstock. I created a matching SVG cut file for the background frame. I created three size frames. One 5.25 x 5.25 (the one I used) as well as one, 4x5.25 and one 4.75 x 6.25. I also created some cuts for the stamps themselves. The grey area (pic below) is solid paper and the white pieces are the cut outs in the files.
Here’s what the base looks like. I cut the frame out in plain white cardstock and then added a piece of the chalk it up paper pack as a mat. I then used my Charming Chevrons stamp set to stamp out the different colored stamped images on the frame. I used my Smoothie Ink Pad , My Lagoon Ink Pad, My Slate Ink Pad and my Flaxen Ink Pad.
I then stamped the sentiment from the You Mean The World To Me stamp set. I used my lagoon ink pad and some blue cardstock. I then created a mat from black cardstock and then a larger one from the white cardstock. I used my EK Success corner punch to punch out the corners. I then added a little arrow from the Chalk It Up stickers set. I added a little foam tape underneath to give it a little lift.
I then used a couple of my Martha Stewart punches to punch out the little butterflies.
Here you can see where I “added back In” the large chevron shape. I thought it worked well so I used my lagoon ink pad and stamped out and added some foam tape underneath to give it a little lift.
Here is a closer look at the pretty little bow. I used some ribbon in my stash.
Here is one last look at the card.
