Cricut Layout From A Long Time Ago

Hello crafty friends,

Today's post is about a layout I created back in April of 2011. I created this for a blog team that I was a part of back then. I happened to be on pinterest and followed another crafter's board. As I was scrolling through her board, I recognized my layout!!! She had pinned this layout from that other blog. I came here to my blog to add the post and picture to my Cricut gallery projects page and realized I never had posted it on here! So I wanted to give it a post with the information and add it in to my gallery. If you would like to look through my Cricut gallery, CLICK here or you can find it by clicking on the menu bar up top. So here is my long lost project.
Kitchen Memories

Here is a view of the entire layout.

Here is a close up of the die cuts on the left border. I used some frosted lace stickles on the pie top to give it a “sugared” appearance.

Here is a close up of the die cuts on the right border.

Here is a close up shot of the “muffins” I covered them with a bit of Cinnamon stickles so they would look sugary.

Now a little info:

The Pie, Apron, Oven Mitts, Cake Slice, “Kitchen” title, Container, Measuring Cup, Muffin Pan, Cupcake and Cake on Plate all came from the…From My Kitchen Cartridge. The word Memories came from the Winter Frolic Cartridge. The border is a Martha Stewart Border punch.  I used various inks, chalks and stickles to add some additional character to the die cuts.

Well that about covers it for today. As always, thank you so much for sharing your crafty time with me. Please be sure to stop back by for another fun crafty project. Until then,

  1. Love this "blast from the past!" And those treats look good enough to eat! Great papers and composition, too.
