Each day of this week, the designer’s will be showcasing projects with a particular theme. Each of these themes are a reflection of different things that I (as well as many others) personally enjoy. So today’s theme was: Tiaras or Crowns. Anything with a Tiara or Crown shape.
I want to explain “WHY” this shape. In the Bible, it talks quite a bit about us being heirs to the throne, princes and princesses. It also talks about the “crowns” we can earn in this life to lay at the feet of Jesus some day. Five of them. What an amazing thing. Of course it is bittersweet because there is also a scripture that talks about losing our crowns.....
“Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown”. Rev. 3:11. The truth is; God, through the finished work of Yeshua (Jesus Christ) gave us an amazing and marvelous opportunity. So holding fast to what we have in Him is worth it all. In this day and age with the lines of morality being crossed and good now seeming evil, it is and will be a challenge to maintain our crowns. The spirit of Apathy and compromise have seeped in to every part of our society. Truly America has become the Laodecian church (Rev. 3: 14-22). How it must break the Lord’s heart to see those He loves losing their crowns.....So hold fast to your crowns and abide in His faithfulness and in the steadfastness of His principles and teachings.
I realize this is a craft blog and not a “religious” blog, but the bottom line is that I am a Christian. “A Crossed Over Hebrew”. A child of the most High God. This blog would NOT exist if it were not for His grace and mercy. I would have nothing to offer you if it weren’t for His gifts. So I have to acknowledge Him and give Him His proper place in my life and that includes this blog.
So with the joy of knowing you have a “crown” no matter what your current circumstance, you wear it with honor and humility today. Take a moment to shine it up. Talk to the Lord and thank Him for His wonderful gift to you. Oh how He would love to hear from His children!
