Cartridge Showcase: Art Philosophy

Happy Monday and welcome to Cooking With Cricut's Cartridge Showcase.  Today Chef Elizabeth is taking over the blog and sharing her favorite cartridge . . . Art Philosophy

This cartridge contains a wealth of fun, versatile, fundamental shapes you'll use on dozens of different projects. Images include cards, tags, borders, font, 3D items, dimensional flowers and more. Many of the images perfectly coordinate with a selection of Close To My Heart My Acrylix® stamps to make stamped projects faster, simpler, and easier.   The cartridge is available only through Close To My Heart Independent Consultants and is sold as a collection that also includes three exclusive stamp sets and three Dimensional Elements chipboard sheets designed to coordinate with cartridge images.

So, without further ado . . . here's is Chef Elizabeth!

I'm so excited to be showcasing the Art Philosophy cartridge here on Cooking with Cricut today.  I am a HUGE fan of the Cricut machine (have been for over five years!) and love, love, love using it for my scrapbook layouts.  However, since I purchased the Art Philosophy cartridge back in August I have not taken it out of my machine (with over 700 images I have not had to)!

In preparation for this showcase I made a gift tag and box both cut out with the Art Philosophy cartridge.

The cartridge comes with three coordinating stamp sets so I used one set on this gift tag.  The flower is also cut from the cartridge.  I love these rolled flowers (six different ones to choose from in this cartridge).  I've made a wreath and a flower ball with them and hope to use them for tons more projects!

Then I cut out a window card with the cartridge and a small tag to make this card.

Using the cartridge to cut out the letters (because along with all the boxes, cards, shapes and flowers there is also a font on this cartridge!) for my title, the triangle for the roof on the house, the flower that I used a coordinating stamp with, the tags and the journal shape to make this scrapbook layout.

I found the poem for this layout at scrapbook.com but tweaked it a little to fit my home.

I am so thrilled with this cartridge - making everything from home decor, to cards, to scrapbook pages, to ornaments to gift boxes to gift tags!  For my son's camping themed birthday party back in August I made these smores kits as party favors.

And these food tags for our smores bar.

You can find more details about my camping party here and the smores bar post is here.

For a women's event at our church I cut out these shaped cards and the box to include them in as favors for each woman who attended.

And finally, here is another card I made using the cartridge and the stamp set that came with it.

I know that this cartridge has been featured on Cooking with Cricut before and many people share the same feelings I do about it - it is truly and amazing cartridge.
