Hip Chick Layout, Free Cutting File, Hip Chick File Set

Good afternoon Friends,
Hope you are all enjoying your day today! I wanted to post a layout I had made over the weekend. I had intended to post it on Sunday but due to some serious technical difficulties, I could not post.
But here it is:

This is a view of the entire layout.
I think it turned out really “HIP”. I used the following cartridges to create this project:
  • 3 Birds
  • Hannah Montana
  • Rock Princess
  • Straight From The Nest.
All the die cuts and pieces are what I call “Straight” Cricut. In other words, I didn’t use any Design Studio or Gypsy “Magic” to cut these files.

Here is a close up of the groovy-licious “Chick” again ALL her pieces are from Cricut Cartridges.

  3. This is so cute Melin!! I love the little chick!

  4. May I ask, what program do you use to create your own cut files. They are so cute and the cut images are so clean. I can draw but my drawings seem to turn into double line pieces and will not break like I want them too. Would appreciate any advice you could offer.

  5. Hi Ann,

You can use a couple of different programs to make your own files. I prefer Adobe Illustrator. Often if you are drawing and then scanning your items you will get the "double" line. Hope this helps. If you need more detailed info, please feel free to email me privately: melin @ scrapbookeden.com. Just remove the spaces :-)
