Hope you are all enjoying your day today! I wanted to post a layout I had made over the weekend. I had intended to post it on Sunday but due to some serious technical difficulties, I could not post.
But here it is:
This is a view of the entire layout.
I think it turned out really “HIP”. I used the following cartridges to create this project:
- 3 Birds
- Hannah Montana
- Rock Princess
- Straight From The Nest.
Here is a close up of the groovy-licious “Chick” again ALL her pieces are from Cricut Cartridges.
Here is a close up of the flourish and “Chick” title.
By The Way: This project fits in with our current 3 Flowers Challenge. Be sure to take a moment and go to that post HERE. You still have time to enter your project!
So for those of you who don’t have those cartridges and or use the MTC and or SCAL programs in conjunction with your Cricut: Here is a cutting file set that I made that you could use to re-create this layout:
This set includes:
- The “groovy-licious” Chick with her big lips, pumps and bow :-)
- The 6pt flower
- The 6pt Silhouette Flower
- The Flourishes
- The “HIP” Custom Letters
- The Chick Title
Lastly, Here is a “FREE” Flower cutting file. You still have time to download it and enter our challenge! This file will be available until Wednesday, January 26th, 2011 – midnight est. time.

ReplyDeleteMelin wao very very cute!!! Love it!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute Melin!! I love the little chick!
ReplyDeleteMay I ask, what program do you use to create your own cut files. They are so cute and the cut images are so clean. I can draw but my drawings seem to turn into double line pieces and will not break like I want them too. Would appreciate any advice you could offer.

So adorable. Thanks for sharing. x
ReplyDeleteSo super fun! Love that little chick!
ReplyDeleteHi Ann,
ReplyDeleteYou can use a couple of different programs to make your own files. I prefer Adobe Illustrator. Often if you are drawing and then scanning your items you will get the "double" line. Hope this helps. If you need more detailed info, please feel free to email me privately: melin @ scrapbookeden.com. Just remove the spaces :-)
What an adorable layout! Cute:)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the free down load!
