You Mean The World To Me Card

Happy Sabbath crafty friends,
Today I am sharing another card using the FREE* SVG Bundle.
you mean world to me card-490
Here is a look at my completed card. The finished size is 5.5 x 5.5. I started with a white cardstock base. I then cut a mat out of champagne cardstock and a piece of seaside paper pack. I then cut a pretty background using one of the SVG files in the FREE bundle (see below).

Here’s a closer look at the sentiment. I used my Slate ink pad and the You Mean The World To Me stamp set.  I stamped it onto one of the svg cuts.

Here’s a look at the base of the sentiment  mat. I cut the scallop in plain white cardstock and then used my Cotton Candy ink pad and the distressed backgrounds stamp set to stamp the “texture”.

For the flowers. I once again used one of the files from the SVG bundle and then used a sponge and sponged some of the cotton candy ink pad  into the centers of my flowers. I then used my  Gold metallic marker  to draw in some of the veins. I also used my same gold marker to color in the pearls I used for the centers. I did also slightly curl the petals.

Here’s a side view. I added some foam tape under each of the flowers to show the depth.

I finished off the look by adding a border with layers of paper and then some Flaxen ribbon and some thin thistle ribbon.
