Scarecrow Treat Boxes With Video and Freebie

Happy Monday crafty friends,
I hope you are enjoying the start of your week.  Today I am sharing this super cute little scarecrow treat box I recently made. I also created a video to show you how to assemble it. I also made a little boy version. The files were from PCW and I used my Pazzles Inspiration Vue to cut them out.

Here’s a closer look at the little girl version. For the patterned paper, I used some paper from the DCWV Sweater Weather Stack. The rest of it is Bazzill cardstock. I created a How-To Video showing how easy it is to assemble these little cuties.

Here’s a side view of the little box. The patterned paper panels are from the Fall and Halloween Basics Stack from DCWV. This stack is an 8.5 x 11. You need to check out my video on how I made the hemp cord from May Arts curly.

Give Thanks Autumn Flowers Card

Happy Wednesday crafty friends,
Today I am sharing another Autumn-Thanksgiving card with you.
GEDSC DIGITAL CAMERA
Here’s a view of my card. It measures 4.25 x 5.5. I cut the base of the card in kraft cardstock. The card base is an SVG file from PCW. I then cut a mat in dark brown cardstock and then used the DCWV Sweater Weather stack for the gorgeous foil striped paper.

Here’s a closer look at the large stamped flower. I used my Autumn Terracotta ink pad for the flower and my Olive ink pad for the leaves. I stamped them on some Colonial White cardstock . The stamps are from the Happy Autumn Stamp Set.

Here is a closer look at the ribbon. I wove the ribbon through the lattice part of the card and then tied a bow to the center.

For the sentiment, I used the same stamp set and stamped it with my Chocolate ink pad. The paper I stamped the sentiment on was also from the same DCWV Sweater Weather Stack. Here is one last look at my card. Now to write a message and send it off Smile

Hello crafty friends, Hope your weekend was a great one.  Over the weekend, I worked on this fun card I am sharing with you. So let’s get started.

grateful dcwv card mpc-490
To create this card I used one of the newer DCWV Stacks called the Sweater Weather Stack. The patterned paper and the main sentiment are from this stack. I created a video showing you how I created this card.

Closer look at the leaves. They are the Fall Harvest stamp set from CTMH. I created matching SVGcut files for them. I stamped the die cuts with my stamp and then used different inks to give them color. You can watch my video on this technique.

This is a look at the inside of the card. The dark paper I used is also from the stack. It has a nice pattern to it, you just can’t see it in the photo too well.
