I created this fun layout featuring some super cute print then cut .png images from papercraftingworld.com. The patterned papers are from the DCWV School Days Stack and the Stack 7 paper stack. I used the Lemonade Stand, Ice Cold Title and lemon slices, lemonade boy sitting. All of these are finished png files that I was able to print then cut with my Cricut Explore. This is my first official project with my Cricut Explore.

Here is a closer look at the lemon slices. I printed them out and then cut them with my cutter.

Here is the bear in lemonade stand. Again, I printed it out, then cut it out with my cutter.

Here is a closer look at the title image. I used some foam tape to give it some lift.

Here's a closer look at the cute little bear sitting with lemonade. Again it is a finished .png that I print then cut with my Cricut Explore. I used regular cardstock to print on all of the pieces and then again some foam tape to give them just a little lift.

Owl Graduate Card

Hello crafty friends,
Hope you're having a wonderful Wednesday. Today I am sharing the last of my school, graduation cards. Here is what I came up with.
owl graduate card v15-650.jpg
Here’s a look at the completed card. I used the card basics stars-dots cut file set and the Owl graduate digital printable from PaperCraftingWorld.com. I used some papers from the DCWV Stack 7 stack. I started with a kraft cardstock base. the red paper is also a patterned paper from the same stack. I used some more craft paper to cut the dots mat.

ctmh stamp set cu-650.jpg
Here’s a closer look at the stamped sentiment. It is from the stamp of the month from last month’s set. I used my Cranberry Ink Pad.

owl digi cu-650.jpg
Here is a closer look at the Owl graduate digital printable. You can see that I used some Crystal Blue ink around the edges of the image.

owl grad card stars-650.jpg
Here is a closer look at the stars. I added some clear gems to give them a little extra pizazz. I also used some foam tape to give them some lift.

star closeup-650.jpg
Here is a closer look at the top stars.

owl grad card bow-650.jpg
Here’s a closer look at the bow. I used some thin ribbon and added a sequin. I didn’t have a gold colored sequin so I used my shin han marker to give it some color. This card was quick and easily made.

Don’t forget that PaperCraftingWorld.com currently has some great school and graduate related cut files and digital printables on sale. PLUS use the PCW50 code with a $5 dollar minimum purchase and you can get an ADDITIONAL 50% off!!

Supplies Used

Kraft cardstock
White cardstock
Black cardstock
HP inkjet printer
Misc. Ribbon

Well that about covers it for today. As always, thank you so much for stopping by and sharing your crafty time with me. Be sure to come back by tomorrow as I share another fun and hopefully inspiring project. Until then,

Chalking on Pre-Printed Digi Tutorial

Good morning crafty friends,

I am sharing the details on how I made my card for this week’s Digi Desserts Fridaze post.
So let’s get right to it Smile

Here is a view of the front of my card.

Here is the inside of the card.

How To Chalk On Pre-Printed Digi
base digi
Start With Your Preprinted Digi. I am using the Bear Angel Teddy Digi from PCW.
I printed it out on Georgia Pacific #110 Cardstock. I used a regular HP Photosmart Inkjet Printer.

base chalking color
Using your blender pen and pastel chalk palette, load some chalk onto your blender pen.

shading outlines
Apply the chalk onto the areas that you desire. I started by using a brown to color the lines and create shadow on the body of the bear.
shading2
Remember the blender pen intensifies the color of the chalk. You will need to continue reloading your pen with your chalk as the color fades.

tummy colored chalk
Move on to the next color by simply using a scratch piece of paper and scribbling your blender pen on it runs clear again. Note: your nib will become stained but that won’t affect your coloring as long as you make sure your pen runs clear before going to your next color.

blue chalk for clouds
Now to my pompom and applicator to pick up some blue…

chalking clouds
Using a quickly cut shape, I created a “mask” and just randomly placed it so that I could use my chalks to shade in and create a sky full of “clouds".

pink chalking-500
Next I will use my pompom and applicator to pick up a little pink. I added that to his cheeks.

shadow chalk color
Now back to my blender pen with a little of the light gray.

chalking shadow under halo
I am adding that right under the halo for a little bit of shadow.

Here is my digi after I finished Coloring with my chalks. Love the soft shading.
I used my blender pen and blue chalk to add some soft lines to the wings (not shown).

Here is a side view.

One last look at the card front.
