Hey crafty friends,
Today I am sharing a layout I created for the Pazzles Craft Room 12 Days of Memories event. Craft Room Editor Michelle created the titles to each project and then we were able to create from that point. So here is what I created.
Here’s a close up of my embossed chevron heart.
Here’s a closer look at the pretty flowers. I really enjoyed creating this project and used some embossing powders and inks. I also used some pretty papers from the DCWV Luxury Stack. For complete details and to get the FREE FILES…You must head over to the Pazzles Craft Room HERE.
Be sure to leave me a comment and let me know you stopped by!

Birthday Floral Card
Happy Birthday Floral Card By Melinda
Hello crafty friends, I am back again! Today I am sharing this pretty birthday card I made for someone special.
I created all of the elements as SVG cut files and they are exclusively in the Pazzles Craft Room.
I started with cutting out the flower, leaf and wreath elements in white cardstock. I inked the edged of the flowers with my light pink ink. I then layered and staggered the pieces. I then turned to the leaves and inked them lightly with my pear ink. I wanted the elements to have just a touch of color.
I cut the wreath out two times and then layered them so the element would be just a bit stronger.
For the patterned paper I used some pretty paper from the DCWV Luxury Stack. For the pretty ornate frame element, I cut it out of pink cardstock and the bottom layer in white cardstock. I used some foam tape to give that layer a little extra dimension.
I then turned to my Pazzles Pen tool. I used my pink glitter gel pen and designed the diamond pattern on the top mat. Instead of “cutting” the pattern, I used my pen tool and “drew” the pattern. This made the stitch look I was after perfect. I wanted a very subtle pattern and having my Pazzles machine create it for me was the perfect alternative. I then used a font on my computer and my pen tool one more time to draw out my sentiment. While it wasn’t a single line font, I liked the look I achieved.
I did the same thing for the larger pink mat. I just created a smaller mat and used the stitch line. This made the stitching look consistent which is hard for me to do “freehand”.
Lastly I added a bow and some pearl accents and then assembled it all. I love the way it turned out.
Here is one last look at the completed card. It is a 5.5 x 5.5 sized card. I think the recipient is going to love it. I sure hope she does!
Don't forget to head over and check out the Pazzles Craft Room. They have so many wonderful projects to get your creative juices flowing. I love that the projects they showcase are for ALL skill levels of crafters and not just the "over the top" projects. Plus, if you have a craft cutter, you may want to join the craft room. All their files are in SVG as well as WPC format! A whole new world of possibilities!

Shabby Roses Card
Good morning crafty friends,
Hope your weekend was a fabulous one and you were able to get some crafting done! I have a card I want to share with you today. It was inspired by a photo challenge at the Shabby Tea Room blog.
Here’s the picture. I have personally always loved the shabby tea room and that “style”, but I spend a lot of time creating fun and cutesy type projects. I really am trying my hand more at all that “shabby goodness” out there
Anyway, here is the card I created that was inspired by the photo.
Here’s a look at my card. I used the Card Square Frame-624 cut file from PCW as well as the Frame Segments file (coming soon). All of the paper is from DCWV The Luxury Stack! The DCWV Luxury stack paper has a really pretty, pearlized sheen to it. It also cut like butter on my Pazzles Inspiration.
Here is a close up of one of the roses I created. I simply cut the petals out of the DCWV paper and then inked the edges with my Chestnut Roan Cat's Eye Chalk Ink. I then staggered the layers and shaped the petals. I then used some of my White Opal Liquid Pearls for the center. I also hit the edges of the petals with my Crystal Stickles. Just to give it some soft and subtle bling.
Here is a close up of the 3 roses cluster on the bottom. You can see here that I used the Petal Pink Liquid Pearls for the centers of the "sprigs" These are the same paper. I just flipped it and used the back side of the paper. It is actually a very light cream or vintage white and not a bright white back, so I thought it was perfect.
Here is another look at the card. You can see that the back of the card is framed like the front. It is very delicate looking. I finished off the card by adding some White Liquid pearls around the card to mimic tiny pearls. I have not added a sentiment to the center of this card yet as I am not sure if it will be for a birthday, anniversary or just because. So I will wait to add that in.
I Used The Following Products
Card Square Frame-624 CF from PCW

Chestnut Roan
Cat’s Eye Chalk Ink | ||
Well that about covers it for today. Thank you for sharing your crafty time with me. Be sure to come back tomorrow. I have another crafty work of heART to inspire you with!
